Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The lyrics to EGO-WRAPPIN''s song "色彩のブルース (Shikisai no Buruusu)" describe the feelings of the singer as they experience the world around them through dreams and imagination. The first two lines of the song set the tone, as the singer describes their dreams in terms of colors and feelings. The orange tint of yesterday's dream gives way to the foreboding silence of today's dream, and the singer tries to find solace in the slow rhythm of their boots as they cross a river of alcohol.
The song continues with vivid descriptions of the singer's surroundings, including the imagery of a back alley, the sound of hoarse voices, and the monochrome world they feel trapped in. Despite this, the singer finds comfort in the rhythm of the music, and the hot melody that pours out of their heartfelt lyrics. The bluesy music of the city is like a balm to their soul, melting away their worries with its colorful tones and sweet whispers.
Overall, "色彩のブルース" is a song that expresses the power of music and imagination to help us cope with the world around us, even when it seems bleak or overwhelming.
