In stumbles Tom Waits and sprays whiskey in their faces, cursing them and chastising their lack of depth and innovation in the past decade. What followed was a long and bawdy drinking, cussing, battle of wits that lead the trio to stumble into a recording studio populated by a few local kids. All three of them sobered up a few weeks later, just in time to watch Stephen Wisniewski walk out the front door with a few reels of tape labeled "Here Lies... Empty Orchestra".

I'm quite excited for the Opus software side of things, especially being able to grab particular instruments out of the ComposerCloud libraries in real-time. That's going to make the subscription a lot more useful depending on how fast the install times are. However I'm still pretty confused about the extent of the Hollywood Orchestra upgrade for CC X, considering Plus is the only plan that gets the Moods capability. There are a number of patches in Hollywood Orchestra that feel outdated, so I'm hoping that "we've added on to what we already have" goes a bit further than Moods and the Orchestrator.

WOW!!!! So excited to hear all the changes. I've always been a huge fan of the actual sample content that EW has delivered, but felt that the software and programmability fell short. But to hear that the software, content delivery system and ease of programming is in for a big upgrade is nothing short of well... music to my ears (pun intended)
