New York Minute
Eagles Lyrics

Harry got up
Dressed all in black
Went down to the station
And he never came back
They found his clothing
Scattered somewhere down the track
And he won't be down on Wall Street
in the morning

He had a home
The love of a girl
But men get lost sometimes
As years unfold
One day he crossed some line
And he was too much in this world
But I guess it doesn't matter anymore

In a New York Minute
Everything can change
In a New York Minute
Things can get pretty strange
In a New York Minute
Everything can change
In a New York Minute

Lying here in the darkness
I hear the sirens wail
Somebody going to emergency
Somebody's going to jail
If you find somebody to love in this world
You better hand on tooth and nail
The wolf is always at the door

In a New York Minute
Everything can change
In a New York Minute
Things can get a little strange
In a New York Minute
Everything can change
In a New York Minute

And in these days
When darkness falls early
And people rush home
To the ones they love
You better take a fool's advice
And tak care of your own
One day they're here;
Next day they're gone

I pulled my coat around my shoulders
And took a walk down through the park
The leaves were falling around me
The groaning city in the gathering dark
On some solitary rock
A desperate lover left his mark,
"Baby, I've changed. Please come back."

What the head makes cloudy
The heart makes very clear
The days were so much brighter
In the time when she was here
But I know there's somebody somewhere
Make these dark clouds disappear
Until that day, I have to believe
I believe, I believe

In a New York Minute
Everything can change
In a New York Minute
You can get out of the rain
In a New York Minute
Everything can change
In a New York Minute

Ok they were wrong about the year and meaning, so they "recconed" the wrong song at the wrong time.....big deal.

We all know what they meant and their heart was in the right place so I know "God Is Aware" of all parties involved.

God Bless those that lost their lives, and those that continue to live on through the hopes and dreams of others.

Thank 😘 You

I urge you all to take 6 minutes & 37 seconds out of your day to pay VERY close attention to the lyrics of this gorgeous song. In a New York minute, everything CAN change, so forgive quickly & love with all your heart. You never know when you will never again get the chance to tell the ones you love how you really feel.

Thank You for a dose of reality. It can all change in a New York Minute. Hold true and fast to what matters. We never know until it's gone. Love and live before then.

To all that died that fateful day and all the First Responders that gave their lives to save strangers, may you find peace in His arms

I personally knew Chris Slow…whom was sent that day, to recover bodies. Instead he told me, that there were only body parts. Know Wonder his PTSD
caused him to be drug addict.

This song is not about September11th because it was out long before that infamous day. It was written after the stock market crash where the whole world collapsed for younger people who thought they were on the brink of success, especially those who gained amazing wealth as stock brokers. Then the market crashed and along with it so did the careers and expectations of a lot of high rollers. This s about a stockbroker who lost his job and his newly found wealth and jumped in front of a train.
