Es gibt Songs, die vergisst man nie. Ich bin inzwischen 57 Jahre alt. Diesen Song hörte ich zum ersten mal 1980 mit 15 Jahren. Und ich weiß genau noch, wo. Damals in der neunten Klasse. Einer der letzten Tage vor den Sommerferien. Zwei Mädels aus der achten Klasse saßen auf dem Fußboden im Schulgebäude, Kassettenrecorder dabei und dieser Song wurde gerade gespielt. Schon damals hat mich der Sound dieses Songs sehr berührt. Und es ist jetzt kein sentimentales Gelaber, wenn ich hier jetzt schreibe, dass ich schon damals wusste, dass ich diesen Song nie vergessen werde und immer in Erinnerung mit den beiden Mädels auf dem Fußboden mit ihren Kassettenrecorder haben werde. Und so ist es auch. Leider hatte ich diesen Song dann über sehr viele Jahre nie wieder gehört und ich wusste auch nicht, von wem dieser Song ist und wie er heißt. Aber Youtube macht vieles möglich.

Bin 50, das ist zwar nicht meine bevorzugte Zeit und meine Musik gewesen (90er für mich), aber den Song hat man immer und immer wieder irgendwo gehört. Ist einfach genial eingängig, ich liebe ihn und der wird wahrscheinlich auch in 50 Jahren noch gehört.

Hm… geht mir genau so. Mike & Sally Oldfield s Musik war auch so was.
Für mich klass Zeitmaschinen Musik, die einen in die Vergangenheit - ob Schulflure oder Bushaltestellen beamt.
Hab ich ansonsten noch mit einer bestimmten Art von türkisfarbenem Glitzer ( Gürtelgliter damals) und einem Parfüm ( my melidie - blau -) hab auf nem Flomarkt an einer leeren Flasche gerochen und war sofort weg hier !
