Lorne Michaels really doesn't approve of improv unless a sketch turns out to be a disaster and they have to ad-lib their way out (look what happened to Adrien Brody when he dressed like a Jamaican [no black- or brownface, but he did have dreads and did the accent. It was pretty good for something that wouldn't fly today] and introduced Sean Paul), but he probably made an exception here.

Well, just for sake of sanity, solid chocolate figures is available, but they, obviously, 1) more expensive (more chocolate) 2) really hard and NOT funny to chew. Considering fact that often such things made not from best chocolate i see why hollow is standard.

Michael Keaton actually worked behind the scenes on Mr. Rogers's Neighborhood in, I believe, the 1980s. I know Keaton hosted SNL in 1982 and Dick Ebersol hated him as a host so much that he brought in Michael Palin from Monty Python as a substitute. It wouldn't be until 1992 that Keaton would host again.

This is honestly one of my favorite skits of all time. The background music, supporting characters, and of course Keaton all were impeccably magnificent. Keaton gives off the perfect serial killer/weirdo vibe and is the best at this holiday riff. I have seen all the others, Norton, Liam, etc. and this by far is the best. I will never stop laughing at this skit.

The other versions, Ed Norton’s Halloween and Kristen Wiig’s Thanksgiving, have the same types of jokes but can’t hold a candle to Keaton’s performance. Keaton elevated this sketch to legendary status

@Paranoid Since 1975, even though they're also mixing it with adrenaline, Starbucks coffee, unhealthy comparisons, Adderall, fear, undiagnosed mental illness, and whatever is in the blood and urine lab tests of whoever the biggest drug addict in their cast is (mostly John Belushi, Chris Farley, Darrell Hammond [believe it or not, he did have issues with drugs that stemmed from the parental abuse he suffered as a child], and Pete Davidson). It's the potentially lethal combination that's been fueling SNL's humor for years
