This literally just made my entire year. This past months I've been going through so much and Bombay Bicycle Club has been my favorite band since 6 years now and every time I'm feeling down I listen to them and everything feels fine again. I'm so glad they are back! The only problem I have with this band is that when I tell people I love BBC they either think I'm talking about the British Broadcast channel or the other sexual thing lol, I miss these indie days when there were so many great bands with this happy indie sound! I did just find a similar new song with this sound Lonely Gimmick - Beaches, it's seriously one of the best new songs I've heard in a while and is a super upbeat indie track

My last memory of Bombay Bicycle Club is their KEXP session 5 years ago. As a kid growing up in Seattle, I was always exposed to up-an-coming musicians from KEXP. Needless to say, I immediately fell in love with them.

Most of my life I have been listening to mobo music and I listen to all sorts of styles soul ,funk, Jazz, R & B, House, D n B etc, but now and again a different kind of band grabs me picks me up and shakes me by the earholes, this is one of those bands, love it.

Playing on repeat on the hifi at 23:50. That's a real nice sound, particularly love the guitar in the chorus, the rhythm & pace of the drumming, and the way the bass guitar builds towards the end of the chorus too. Lyrics on-point, simple, purposeful, emotive and relatebale. Look forward to seeing this one live!
