The lyrics to Ebony's song "Haters Anthem" are a powerful message to those who try to bring her down. She asserts that she is a "bad girl" who is very good at doing "bad things." The song speaks to the trend of being a 90s "bad gal" and questioning those who are haters.
Ebony begins the song by addressing the haters directly, asking them what they really know and if they are part of the "money makers" or the "big losers." She points out that while her peers are in school, the haters are just fooling around on Facebook. The singer then makes it clear that she doesn't care what people think or say about her, as she is still at the top, counting her money.
The overall message of "Haters Anthem" is that Ebony is focused on her own success and won't let anyone bring her down. She embraces her "bad girl" image and turns it into a triumph, showing that being confident and unapologetic in the face of negativity is essential to pursuing one's dreams.
