Every since the day You touched me, I was addicted.
Every since the day I felt Your loving arms, around me.
I'm addicted to You. I'm addicted to You.
Nothing and no one could ever take Your place.
I'm addicted to You. I'm addicted to You.
Nothing else can satisfy me,
Every since the day I met You, I was addicted.
Every since the day You touched me, I was addicted.
Every since the day I felt Your loving arms, around me.
I'm addicted to You. I'm addicted to You.
Nothing and no one could ever take Your place.
I'm addicted to You. I'm addicted to You.
Nothing else can satisfy me,
Nothing else can satisfy me

In "I'm Addicted," Eddie James expresses his devotion to God, stating that he is addicted to God's love, grace, presence, voice, and touch. He sings about how nothing else can satisfy him, and how he has an insatiable desire for God. The repetition of the phrases "I'm addicted to You" and "Nothing else can satisfy me" emphasizes the intensity of his addiction to God. James describes the moment he met God, and how he was instantly hooked. He talks about feeling God's loving arms around him, and how that made him crave more of God.
The song portrays a relationship between James and God that is similar to a drug addiction, in which he needs God to feel complete and satisfied. The lyrics suggest that James is willing to go to any lengths to get his "fix" of God, and that he cannot get enough of God's presence. The song expresses the belief that God is the only thing that can truly satisfy the human soul, and that once someone experiences God's love, they are forever addicted to it.
Overall, "I'm Addicted" is a powerful song that expresses a deep devotion to God, and portrays a spiritual addiction that is all-encompassing. The song's intensely emotional lyrics and powerful vocals make it a moving testament to the power of faith.
