Le cimetière des éléphants
Eddy Mitchell Lyrics
Y faut m'garder
Et m'emporter
J'suis pas périssable
Te presse pas, tu as tout l'temps
D'aller au cimetière des éléphants
Y faut t'garder
Et t'emporter
J'prendrai pas trop d'place
Promis, craché, juré
Quand j'serai vieux
Faut m'garder
Et m'emporter
J'suis pas périssable
J'suis bon à consommer
Te presse pas, tu as tout l'temps
M'emmener au cimetière des éléphants

Heavily influenced by American rock & roll, Mitchell (who went solo in 1963) has often recorded outside France, at first in London, but later in Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee. Guitarist Jimmy Page and drummer Bob Graham were among the British session musicians who regularly supported him in London.
