Heavily influenced by American rock & roll, Mitchell (who went solo in 1963) has often recorded outside France, at first in London, but later in Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee. En contraste avec l'annonce catharcique de la la fondation 30 millions d'amis émise en intro sur l'abandon de nos chers compagnons canins dont l'issue est souvent l'euthanasie.
