Edgewater is lead singer Matt Moseman, guitarists Micah Creel and Justin "Shorty" Middleton, drummer Jeremy "Worm" Rees, and former Nixons bassist Ricky "Honky Mofo" Wolking.
Edgewater gained notoriety in 2004 after being signed to Wind-up Records and having a lead single on the Punisher Movie Soundtrack and movie credits. The bands single "Eyes wired Shut" was also featured as the theme music for WWE Backlash 2004.
2005, after being told by Wind-up executives that 'rock is dead' and told to change their sound, the band bravely departed the label to work independently. So far in 2006, Edgewater has released their new album "We're Not Robots..." locally to a healthy fan base and started a distribution partnership with Rock Ridge Records/Warner for releasing the album nationally in August.
Edgewater officially disbanded in 2007. Matt Moseman later became the lead singer of June Halo. Micah Creel is often seen on the road with the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (BRMC) and STP. Jeremy 'worm' Rees is spending much deserved time with his wife and beautiful daughter.
In late December 2016, Moseman died in his sleep of an apparent heart failure. He was married and had 3 sons. On March 16, 2017, a memorial live show was held in Texas to celebrate his life. At the service, the surviving band members performed Edgewater songs with guest vocalists.

Reel it back again and just give me one more chance at that one day
How many times does it take to get it right?
How many times does it take to get it right?
Always thinking of yesterdays
Always making the same mistakes
And say what I want to say
Just to let it slip away I feel the pain again of this one thing
It's taking over sleep and it's all I have in me is this one thing
How many times does it take to get it right?
How many times does it take to get it right?
Always thinking of yesterdays
Always making the same mistakes
And say what I want to say
Maybe I can get it right
RIGHT NOW
Maybe I can get it right
RIGHT NOW
Maybe I can get it right this time and release me
How many times does it take to get it right?
How many times does it take to get it right?
Always thinking of yesterdays
Always making the same mistakes
And someday maybe I'll make the change
And say what I want to say
Now it's time to get it right
Now it's time to get it right
NOW IT'S TIME TO GET IT RIGHT
The lyrics of Edgewater's song "Get It Right" reflect the experience of someone who is plagued by regret, constantly dwelling on past mistakes and feeling like they missed an opportunity they can never get back. The first verse seems to suggest that the singer is haunted by a particular day, wishing they could go back in time and correct a wrong they had done. The repetition of the question "How many times does it take to get it right?" emphasizes the frustration and seeming futility of the singer's attempts to improve themselves and their situation.
The second verse suggests that this regret is an ongoing struggle, with the singer feeling trapped by a single mistake or missed opportunity, to the point that it affects their sleep and consumes all their attention. However, the chorus provides a glimmer of hope that they can break this cycle of regret and finally "get it right". The final verse expresses a desire to make a change and speak their truth, indicating that the singer is ready to move forward and seize whatever opportunities come their way.
Overall, "Get It Right" is a song about the struggle to overcome past mistakes and regrets, and the hope that one can eventually break free from these burdens and move towards a brighter future.
