Edgewater is lead singer Matt Moseman, guitarists Micah Creel and Justin "Shorty" Middleton, drummer Jeremy "Worm" Rees, and former Nixons bassist Ricky "Honky Mofo" Wolking.
Edgewater gained notoriety in 2004 after being signed to Wind-up Records and having a lead single on the Punisher Movie Soundtrack and movie credits. The bands single "Eyes wired Shut" was also featured as the theme music for WWE Backlash 2004.
2005, after being told by Wind-up executives that 'rock is dead' and told to change their sound, the band bravely departed the label to work independently. So far in 2006, Edgewater has released their new album "We're Not Robots..." locally to a healthy fan base and started a distribution partnership with Rock Ridge Records/Warner for releasing the album nationally in August.
Edgewater officially disbanded in 2007. Matt Moseman later became the lead singer of June Halo. Micah Creel is often seen on the road with the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (BRMC) and STP. Jeremy 'worm' Rees is spending much deserved time with his wife and beautiful daughter.
In late December 2016, Moseman died in his sleep of an apparent heart failure. He was married and had 3 sons. On March 16, 2017, a memorial live show was held in Texas to celebrate his life. At the service, the surviving band members performed Edgewater songs with guest vocalists.
Neglected
Edgewater Lyrics

I feel this time that she's been left behind
I feel sometimes that she's neglected
I feel sometimes that she will rise
Why has her life been dismissed?
Somebody tell me why
Cold December day I walked in
Well there she lay
Her skin was bare the tears rolled down her face
They're tears of fear death takes her place
And I am scared of
She needs more time
Today is not a good day she left the life she lived
Today is not a good day she left the life she's given
Won't walk away
The lyrics to Edgewater's song Neglected are rich with meaning and emotion. The song seems to be about a person who feels neglected and overlooked by those around them. The singer expresses the feeling that "she" is not missed at all and that she has been left behind. The repetition of the phrase "I feel sometimes" emphasizes the uncertainty and ambiguity of the situation. The singer is struggling to understand why this person's life has been dismissed and why she is being neglected.
The second verse seems to describe a specific incident in which the person in question is lying in a hospital bed, possibly dying. The image of bare skin and tears rolling down her face is heartbreaking and adds to the sense of urgency and desperation in the song. The singer is scared and feels a strong sense of empathy and connection to this person.
The chorus emphasizes the idea that this person needs more time, but it's unclear what kind of time that is. Is it time to live, time to be noticed and appreciated, or time to die? The final lines of the chorus suggest that the singer is committed to not walking away, to standing by and supporting this person in some way.
Overall, Neglected is a powerful and moving song about the human need for connection and recognition. It highlights the pain of being overlooked and the importance of lifting each other up and supporting one another through difficult times.
