Edgewater is lead singer Matt Moseman, guitarists Micah Creel and Justin "Shorty" Middleton, drummer Jeremy "Worm" Rees, and former Nixons bassist Ricky "Honky Mofo" Wolking.
Edgewater gained notoriety in 2004 after being signed to Wind-up Records and having a lead single on the Punisher Movie Soundtrack and movie credits. The bands single "Eyes wired Shut" was also featured as the theme music for WWE Backlash 2004.
2005, after being told by Wind-up executives that 'rock is dead' and told to change their sound, the band bravely departed the label to work independently. So far in 2006, Edgewater has released their new album "We're Not Robots..." locally to a healthy fan base and started a distribution partnership with Rock Ridge Records/Warner for releasing the album nationally in August.
Edgewater officially disbanded in 2007. Matt Moseman later became the lead singer of June Halo. Micah Creel is often seen on the road with the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (BRMC) and STP. Jeremy 'worm' Rees is spending much deserved time with his wife and beautiful daughter.
In late December 2016, Moseman died in his sleep of an apparent heart failure. He was married and had 3 sons. On March 16, 2017, a memorial live show was held in Texas to celebrate his life. At the service, the surviving band members performed Edgewater songs with guest vocalists.

Can't you here all of the noises
Scraping the back of my mind
Did you realize that I so despise all those times I've wasted counting on you?
Yeah, I'm so sick of being used
Why can't you see I'm falling apart
Why are you walking from me?
So shut your mouth ‘cause I'm sick of it
The time has come just to call it quits
And walk away let me be
Such an insult such a traitor what defines the name that you cater
Such a curse such a quitter all I hear is the words that you shattered
Did you realize that I so despise all those times I've wasted counting on you?
Yeah I'm so sick of being used
Walk away
So disappointed as you walk away as you walk away
Dead and avoided as you slip away and you kneel and pray
Walk away
The lyrics to Edgewater's song "Quitter" express feelings of disappointment, frustration, and exhaustion in a one-sided relationship. The singer is tired of always being a step behind and of wasting time counting on someone who consistently disappoints them. The noises scraping at the back of their mind are likely doubts and uncertainties about the future of the relationship. The singer is so sick of being used and of the other person's silence and lack of communication, which only adds to their pain.
The chorus of the song repeats the questions "Why can't you see I'm falling apart? Why are you walking from me? Why can't you say it the silence is jaded?" The singer is pleading with the other person to acknowledge the problems in the relationship and to communicate honestly about their feelings. The lyrics also describe the other person as a traitor, a quitter, and someone who shattered the singer's trust with their words. The repeated instruction to "walk away" is a clear indication that the singer has had enough and is ready to end things.
