13 Give Me a Sign
Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros Lyrics
Oooh
If you are near
I want to know
I see your cold body
But I feel your soul
Give me a sign
Give me a sign
Open the door
Creak the floor
Give me a sign
Are you all right
If you are near
Then make it clear
Up to my mind and eyes
To again feel your love
If you are near
I want to know
My dearly departed
I can't let go
Bring me a sign
Bring me a sign
Then make it rain each year
The day that you died
Give me a sign
Give me a sign
I'll walk outside and I'll cry
Till it's light, I'm dying
To again feel love
Aaah
Lalala
Come as my kisser
Come as the rain
Come as my lover
Come back again
Come as my brother
Come as the sea
Come back my only one
Come back to me
Come back my mother
Come as my friend
Come back my only one
Come back again
Yeah yeah yeah
Come back again
Yeah yeah yeah
Come back my only one
Come back again
Come as my father (Don't you take me for her)
Come as the sea (Don't you take me for her)
Come back my only friend (Don't you take me for her memory)
Come back to me
Yeah
Only friend
Come back again
Come back my mother
Come back again
Come back my loving friend
Come back my friend

After breaking up with his girlfriend, moving out of his house, and joining a 12-step program for addiction, Ebert began work on a story about a messianic figure named Edward Sharpe. According to Ebert, Sharpe "was sent down to Earth to kinda heal and save mankind ... but he kept getting distracted by girls and falling in love." Ebert later met singer Jade Castrinos in Los Angeles, California, United States. In the summer of 2009, as Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Ebert and Castrinos toured the country with a group of fellow musicians in a big white school bus.
Its song "Home" was voted number 15 on the Australian Triple J Hottest 100's 2009 countdown, the largest music poll in the world.

man, I miss this band when they were all together.

@John Soukup I agree. They sound so good together. It's a shame
John Soukup
@Clara Bueno Nah. She wasn't the soul. It's a yin yang thing. The chemistry was incredible. Sum is greater than it's parts. That's why it's so tragic that it didn't lead to more music. Neither of them are great by themselves yet. Here's hoping.

I miss it too. Jade was the soul

I agree. Jade come

@Alejo Murcia Publicista unfortunately for this band, Jade took most of the real energy of this band when she left. Just watched 2 concerts form last 3 years and while not bad, just really so empty sounding without her, and even the other 2 females who sang harmonies as well...

dont pray for a easy life, prey for the strength to live a hard one.

arthurneddysmith you should probably try to keep your opinions of prayer to yourself. Prayer is hope for a lot of people and just because they believe in it doesn’t hurt your livelihood.

wrekinfolk -"Prey" doesn't mean what you think it does. And prayer is exactly as useless as muttering incantations to Zeus.
