Un dolor sin tregua
Duele caminar mientras tú te alejas
Llueve y no estas
Y mis pies no entienden
Como continuar este amor sin verte
La ciudad es un mar
Sigue haciendo frio en mí
Sigo escuchando tus pasos
Alejándose de aquí
Dejando un amo en mis brazos
Perdóname te sigo amando
La ilusión se va
Huellas en la arena
Quiero regresar
Sé que estoy incompleta
La ciudad es un mar
De soledad y nada me regresa a ti
Sigue haciendo frio en mí
Sigo escuchando tus pasos
Alejándose de aquí
Dejando un amo en mis brazos
Sigue haciendo frio en mí
Sigo escuchando tus pasos
Alejándose de aquí
Dejando un amo en mis brazos
Perdóname te sigo amando
Siguiendo tus pasos
Sigue haciendo frio en mí
Sigo escuchando tus pasos
Alejándose de aquí
Dejando un amo en mis brazos
Perdóname te sigo amando
In "Frío," Eiza sings about the pain of walking away from someone you love. The lyrics describe the feeling of being left behind and the struggle to move on from a relationship that has ended. The singer is overwhelmed by feelings of loss and loneliness, as if they are wandering through a never-ending cityscape.
In the first verse, Eiza describes the physical pain of walking without the person she loves. The rain and the endless streets add to the sense of despair and confusion, as if the singer is lost in a world that no longer makes sense without their love. The repetition in the chorus emphasizes the ongoing pain and the singer's inability to let go. They continue to hear the sound of their lover's footsteps, even as they walk away.
The second verse adds more detail to the sense of loss, with the singer saying that they feel incomplete without their lover. The memory of their relationship is like footprints in the sand - something that has been left behind and cannot be recaptured. The final repetition of the chorus suggests that the singer is trapped in a cycle of pain and regret, unable to move on from their lost love.
Overall, "Frío" is a powerful exploration of heartbreak and the complexity of human emotions.
