Trigales Verdes
El Consorcio Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
mientras mi niña dormía;
ayer tarde yo cantaba
mientras mi niña dormía.
Y los almendros lloraban
y los almendros lloraban
de la infinita alegría;
y los almendros lloraban
de la infinita alegría.
Qué bonita que es mi niña
qué bonita cuando duerme:
se parece a una amapola
entre los trigales verdes;
qué bonita que es mi niña
qué bonita cuando duerme:
se parece a una amapola
entre los trigales verdes.
Jugaban al escondite
el sol con los limoneros;
jugaban al escondite
el sol con los limoneros.
Los almendros se asomaban
a su ventana y miraban
por ver dormir a un lucero;
los almendros se asomaban
a su ventana y miraban
por ver dormir a un lucero.
Qué bonita...
The lyrics to El Consorcio's song Trigales Verdes describe a beautiful moment in which the singer was singing while his daughter was asleep. The almond trees were crying - not tears of sadness, but tears of infinite joy. The beauty of the singer's daughter is also emphasized, being compared to a poppy flower in the midst of green wheat fields. The sun played a game of hide and seek with the lemon trees, and the almond trees peeked out of the window to watch a star sleep. Overall, the song speaks of the beauty of nature and life's simple moments, as well as highlighting the love and admiration the singer has for his daughter.

Es inevitable no conmoverse con tan hermosa voz!
De los Uranga, Amaya y Estíbaliz tienen las mejores voces. No es cantar por cantar, es transmitir la emoción a su público y ellas lo hacen!
