From a very young age, Ramon sang at family gatherings and parties. His musical creativity was nurtured in a very “bohemian” environment. His father, Manuel de Jesus Galvez, a well-known bachatero from the 60s and 70s, was a great influence to Ramon.
Ramon later moved to New York where he had the opportunity to record his first album. He was able to gain some interest among the local “Nuyorican” community, but his dream was to become a well-known musician in his own country.
His album, Paz En La Cama, helped him achieve his dream. He was an instant star in The Dominican Republic as well as in Panama, Puerto Rico, and St. Martin.
He went on to produce several other hits, including “Un Poquito De Amor,” “Como Te Voy a Ovidar,” “Quiereme,” and “El Osito Dormillon” which brought him even more fame in his home country and all around the world.
“El Gringo” is considered one of the best representatives of “La Sangre nueva de la Bachata”, that is, a new generation of musicians who have brought the genre to the forefront of Latin music.

Y HACEN MALDAD
Ay esos son que las mujeres
QUIEREN MAS
Ay esos que dan poco amor
Y HACEN MALDAD
Ay esos son que las mujeres
A esos que dan poco amor,
Que solo saben dar dolor,
Y sufrimeintos
Esos que hechan a perder,
Entre debilidad y poder,
Los sentimientos
Esos se llevan lo mejor,
De una mujer con ilusion
Llena de miedo
Porque ello' atento a su machismo
A la fuerza se hacen querer
Con egoismo
Ay esos que dan poco amor
Y HACEN MALDAD
Ay esos son que las mujeres
QUIEREN MAS
Ay esos que dan poco amor
Y HACEN MALDAD
Ay esos son que las mujeres
QUIEREN MAS
Ay esos que dan poco amor
Y HACEN MALDAD
Ay esos son que las mujeres
QUIEREN MAS
Ay esos que dan poco amor
Y HACEN MALDAD
Ay esos son que las mujeres
QUIEREN MAS
(MAMBO)
Ay esos que dan poco amor
Y HACEN MALDAD
Ay esos son que las mujeres
QUIEREN MAS
Ay esos que dan poco amor
Y HACEN MALDAD
Ay esos son que las mujeres
QUIEREN MAS
A esos que son como yo,
Que lo dan todo con amor
Y con aprecio
Nos pagan siempre con maldad,
Con mentiras con falsedad
Y con desprecio
Otros se llevan lo mejor,
De una mujer con ilusion
Llena de miedo
Porque ello' atento a su machismo
A la fuerza se hacen querer
Con egoismo
Ay esos que dan poco amor
Y HACEN MALDAD
Ay esos son que las mujeres
QUIEREN MAS
Ay esos que dan poco amor
Y HACEN MALDAD
Ay esos son que las mujeres
QUIEREN MAS
Ay esos que dan poco amor
Y HACEN MALDAD
Ay esos son que las mujeres
QUIEREN MAS
*** QUIEREN MAS
The song "A Esos Hombres" by El Gringo de la Bachata highlights the plight of women who are in relationships with men who show them little love and affection and are abusive towards them. The lyrics talk about how these men take advantage of their partners' vulnerability and emotions, and how these women often want more from such men. The singer describes how these men only give pain and suffering, which they use to manipulate and control their partners. The women who fall for them do so out of fear, and they are vulnerable to the machismo and selfishness of these men.
The song also highlights the contrast between these manipulative and selfish men and those who treat women with love and respect. The singer takes pride in being a man who loves and appreciates his partner and who shows her affection and care. However, he notes that men like him are often treated with malice and disrespect, while those who mistreat women get all the attention they want.
The lyrics of this song highlight the importance of respect, love, and empathy in relationships. They show women that they deserve better than men who only want to take advantage of them and manipulate them, and they urge men to treat their partners with kindness and affection. The song has a strong message of hope and empowerment for women who are caught in abusive relationships.
