El Otro Yo Lyrics

eléctricos ojos,
de metal,
artificio de odio,
alérgico naso a la tierra,
mamas de montaña,
leche sana y blanca,
es una mamada de toros y vacas.
Fronteras, todas las vas a cruzar.
Fronteras, van a desaparecer
Sos un caramelo o sos un señuelo.
No sos sano y cuerdo y no lo creemos.
Un corazón roto confuso alboroto.
Los pies en el barro,
oídos cerrados.
La selva te absorve, te chupa y te come.
Mi rostro marciano,
tus ojos volando,
mis manos de lodo,
tu pelo de pasto.
Un beso elevado,
abrazo de árbol,
acero quebrado,
un láser humano,
un viaje obligado,
quemando y quemando.
Fronteras, todas las vas a cruzar.
Fronteras, van a desaparecer
No te van a detener!
The lyrics of El Otro Yo's "Denso" consists of a series of disjointed and surreal images that are meant to evoke a feeling of chaos and confusion, while also hinting at themes of societal oppression and personal liberation. The opening lines describe "monkey anger" and "metallic eyes" that are full of hatred and animosity. This seems to be representing the anger and frustration that people feel towards the oppressive forces in their lives, whether they be political institutions or societal norms.
The next few lines describe a literal and metaphorical separation from the natural world, with the singer having an "allergic nose to the earth" and referencing mountainous breasts that produce healthy and pure milk. This could represent a longing for a simpler and more authentic way of life, free from the constraints and expectations of modern society. The chorus then enters, repeating the phrase "borders, you're going to cross them all" over and over again. This seems to suggest a desire for personal freedom and an end to the strict boundaries that society has erected.
The latter half of the song becomes even more abstract and surreal, with references to a broken heart, a burning journey, and a "tree hug." The imagery in these lines is meant to be evocative and dream-like, hinting at the possibility of transcending the limitations of human experience and finding a deeper connection to the world around us.
