I live a couple streets down from De Soto hotel and luckily this landmark has a chance after the fire that occurred. Rogelio, the owner, stated that he still plans to renovate the building into apartments. If that does indeed get done, hopefully the paranormal activity there is still as strong as ever.

I agree with everyone requesting pictures! According to the guy you interviewed, between this video and the last video, he should have HUNDREDS of paranormal pictures of entities and other proof of his experiences! If he was being truthful he would be showing these pictures to you. From here on out in your videos when someone claims they have pictures you should ask for them to show your audience! Im an El Paso native and this place is definitely one of the creepiest places we have. Being close to it just makes you stand on edge and get chills! My experience here. Before I knew it was haunted I parked here outside and I could just feel the evil presence from my car. I was 21 and needed a place to stay and I remembered hearing this place was Really cheap online ... I drove here and something told me to get the hell out of there .. I saw it burn down and it actually felt like a relief watching it burn.

Just letting you know that the hotel is burning down as we speak, they don’t know if it was arson’s, but they do have a couple suspects in custody. I’m just happy that you guys were able to get all this footage before this happened.

I am an El Paso native and I've stayed in del Soto hotel and I didn't have a good stayed.. it's hunted and even burnt dwn there is still demons up there. Ive had my feet touched at night while sleeping and heard a kid running around the stairs. I also felt like if someone sat on my bed in the middle of the night, the room was randomly cold and it smelled like rotten eggs

Personally, when investigating, I try not to look in to the places. I like to experience without preconception, and then research afterwards. I don't want to affect any possible activity by going in with expectations. I think it makes for stronger evidence when names and events come up.

Thanks for a great video, it really was creepy! How ironic that you mentioned how you’d probably be the last people to investigate because you were right about that! The cause of the fire is still under investigation and no word yet on whether or not they can save the building or if they’ll have to knock it down.

The same goes with crosses, talismans, rosaries, holy water,etc….

37:47 window is open on left side- the one that you see as he enters - just as the started down the hall I saw a quick movement go into room across from lit room. I wish they had checked outside the window and investigated the other room for a person. It looks obvious that someone is staying in the lit room with couch and clothing on floor and have shower handy in other room also 'attic' space to hide in. I hope no homeless ppl were killed in the fire. Also when I hear about the fire, the cynic in me says it was convenient to have insurance pay for the demo.

This place just burned down tonight! Terrifying. I just looked the hotel up online to see if I could find more paranormal encounters or pictures, and was met with tons of articles and coverage of the massive fire that destroyed it. Unreal.

Finally someone did a video of this hotel. Me and my boyfriend went to that hotel 3 months ago…and a sprit followed me the entire time. The spirit eventually followed me home and is somewhere in the house. But it comes and goes, it left last week and hasn’t been back.

The problem with doing things like this, is that you can actually have entities attached to your spiritual energy. You won't even realize it, but if they attach, you take them out of the place where they are bound to, and take them into your own home, opening the door for other entities to attach to your family etc.

This is how families get haunted.

As a side note, in my younger years (about 15 years ago) I was with a friend who visited one of his friends.

They popped out to the shops while I stayed behind. Never felt so uneasy and scared in someone's house - felt like there was something watching me the whole time.

When they came back, I said I want to leave, and in the car ride my friend asked why I was freaked out... He then told me his friend is a practicing satanist.

Needless to say I never went there again, and also never saw my friend again. Still send shivers done my spine thinking about it (and I can actually remember the living room of the house).

I stayed at the De Soto motel it was creepy, but the gateway by the Pancho Villa bar was far more terrifying.!!
I believe it is shut down now but damn just walking into that motel felt nasty and oily we didn't even want to take a shower there because even the water felt cursed and light coming in the Windows felt tainted..
It's too bad you couldn't get a tour of that motel in downtown El Paso TX..

Something else I really love about this family is how humble and down to earth everyone of them are ❤️🙏 despite the fact that they are getting bigger, they still interact with the spooks fam "AKA all of us" they meet up with fam's when they can, and even have join their investigations 🙏❤️it's so amazing, because I really think Colin, Courtney, mama and papa spooks look at everyone here supporting with gratitude and being a part of a huge spooks family Colin/they have created together with every supporting and loyal spooky being around the world here 👻🌏. I really respect the fact that numbers, views,subsc, nobody and nothing has changed or effected Colin in a bad way 🙏like many people do here on YT and elsewhere... Unfortunately I think this is the same reason why GA was really good show in the beginning, but today?!?idk🤷‍♀️ but many people change in a bad way, and almost become narcissistic because they are getting "bigger" but that doesn't necessarily mean "better" at what they do, or better than everyone else... that in the end also made you/the big name everyone talkes about. Anyways I think it is so refreshing to see when someone show the right way to do it. I’ve never been part of a paranormal investigation. I know that viewing it through my phone and actually being on site are two completely different situations. Whenever there are unexplainable noises I think “Cool” but I honestly don’t know how I would react if I were there in person. It would be pretty neat to experience it one day.
I have my fair share of paranormal experiences so I think I have the heart to be part of a paranormal investigation.
Just wanted to throw that out there.

Right at the end where everyone was irritated with each other and you said the loud buzz from the device was annoying you, my daughter walked in my room and said "can you turn that down , that buzz is really annoying.".
I know it was just a coincidence, but thought that was funny.

Another great investigation Colin. The way the energy was affecting you and Jeff in the basement was very strange. But on that note it's worth noting that dark entities will try and create as much negative energy as possible that they feed off. Also if there is a portal there and it's not closed and sealed even if the building is demolished the portal will still be there. Looking forward to the next investigation Stay Spooky and stay safe.

The room where he had to kick the door 3 times to get it open I thought I saw a noose in the lower left corner just as he entered. Could have been electrical cords? Just seemed creepy.

Let's do this!!! I want to see some cool stuff! I have issues around this type of stuff because I am a susceptible to spirits! They seek me out all the time and IT SUCKS!!! I live next to a graveyard from the 1700s and they come and ask me for help all the time! It's crazy! There's over 6 OLD graveyards in my town which is SUPER SMALL! It's nuts!

i live in el paso and am downtown often, the de soto was a beautiful piece of history however due to it burning down the hotel was lost and you can look into it directly now, i went last night to take pictures of the murals all over our cities walls, the de soto made me feel super uneasy and i didn’t know much of the history, just being outside of the building now with all the burned windows and everything makes it feel so exposed but i didn’t feel alone, i felt i was being watched and my little sister freaked out when she looked into it, she didn’t tell me what she saw but she wanted to leave immediately.
