Among their greatest hits -after their Three Souls era- "Triste Cancion" (based on Neil Young's "Like a Hurricane"), "Metro Balderas" (originally by Rodrigo Gonzalez), and "Piedras Rodantes" are probably the most known and have the quality of Anthems. Favorite bluesy songs such as "Oye Cantinero" and "ADO" belong to their Three Souls era, but are included in compilations and newer versions (from live concert recordings) abound.

Quisiera retachar, a mi ciudad natal
El Tri's song "El indocumentado" is a powerful commentary on the experience of undocumented immigrants in the United States. Lead singer Alex Lora takes us through the story of a man who was a vagabond in his home country and felt compelled to come to America to seek better opportunities. He admits that he entered the country illegally and is forced to work odd jobs just to survive. He also describes the hardships of being undocumented and not knowing the English language, making it difficult to connect with others and find better work. However, he also gains appreciation for the native American culture he learns about while living in the country.
The song highlights the harsh realities that many immigrants face when coming to the United States. It sheds light on the desperate situations that drive people to leave their homes and take risks to create a better future, as well as the challenges they face once they arrive. The singer's struggles with poverty, isolation, and the threat of being caught by immigration authorities are all too familiar to many people who have experienced the same situations. Despite these obstacles, the singer remains resilient, learning to adapt and appreciate new cultures while holding on to his own identity.
El indocumentado is an important song that sheds light on the plight of undocumented immigrants. The song has resonated with millions of people around the world who can relate to the struggles of the singer. The song's powerful message has helped to inspire change and push for a more compassionate approach to immigration policies.

Dios bendiga a tu jefita y toda tu familia. Gracias hermano.
