Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Puta la madre que te parió
Putos todos en la cola
Puto el puto del camión
Puto el suelo que caminas
Puto el día del amor
Puta regla, puto alcohol
The lyrics to "Puta" by Elaine are raw and filled with frustration, expressing a strong disdain towards various aspects of life. The repeated use of the word "puta" (which translates to "whore" in English) is an expletive that intensifies the anger and negativity portrayed in the song. The language here serves as a tool to vent and express dissatisfaction.
The song seems to criticize authority figures, particularly the police, with the line "Puta mierda policía" (Fucking police shit). This reflects a sentiment of discontent or even rebellion against the system. The lyrics further channel this frustration towards societal norms and expectations, represented by phrases like "Puto el día del amor" (Fuck Valentine's Day) and "Puta regla, puto alcohol" (Fuck rules, fuck alcohol).
The overall tone of the song is one of defiance and a rejection of societal standards. It captures a certain level of anger and disillusionment with various aspects of life, the self, and the world at large. By using provocative language and intense emotions, "Puta" conveys a powerful message of discontent and resistance.
