Nervous
Elephant Island Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Still some nervous
I woke up early
Racing

Into evening
I feel so simple
A piece of light
Slipping through summer

In the kitchen
Before you're leaving
Breakfast

In your letter
I found out the easy way
What's good
Will get better

I stay up late
It's a simple strategy
Till I can't see the bedroom walls

Till I can't feel the blankets
Beneath me

Also, what themes would you like to see become a video? Next week has a theme set and ready, but after that it's all open for ideas!

Question: you say Elephant Island is claimed by more than one country. Have they ever gone to war over it?

Acadatube

Good question! No, I do not believe they have fought over the land because the countries have all signed a treaty called the "Antarctic Treaty", which only allows countries to have a section of Antarctica and islands near it to be used for scientific research, and the countries must use it peacefully without trying to control other countries' land. Thank you for the question!
