Fed on a sumptuous and varied diet of Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Eric Clapton and Joni Mitchell (to name a fractured few) by her music fanatic parents, Elissa began teaching herself piano at age six. She wrote her first song at ten.
Through her teenage years, Elissa has blended those early influences and forged them into her own unique style. Along the way, she has continued absorbing the genius of Jeff Buckley, John Mayer and others.
