1) Actress/model Cassandra Peterson has been performing as Elvira since 1981.
2) Elvira Anderfjärd is a 21-year-old up-and-coming Swedish producer, singer and songwriter. Anderfjärd's primary focuses are producing and writing -- a true studio person, she's never performed live -- taking inspiration from artists like Flume and infusing her work with the classical influences of her youth. She's signed with MXM Publishing, the publishing company owned by songwriter savant Max Martin, who's written hits for Taylor Swift including "Bad Blood" and "Gorgeous." While Elvira's work isn't focused on remixing, when Swift's team called MXM looking for someone to take on the edits, she jumped at the opportunity.
Elvira is mostly known for her projects with Taylor Swift which are willow - dancing witch version (Elvira remix), Love Story (Taylor's Version) - Elvira Remix, Message In A Bottle (Taylor's Version) (From The Vault) and lastly Girl At Home (Taylor's Version). Elvira also has previously worked with fellow Swedish musician Tove Lo on the single 'Sadder Badder Cooler', and on the 'Glad He's Gone' remix. She also co-produced Katy Perry's 'What Makes A Woman' from her 2020 album Smile.
Elvira doesn't appear to have a public Instagram, or any other active social accounts. In fact, due to her lack of social media presence, Taylor Swift fans began to speculate whether or not Elvira was even real. Some even though that Elvira was Taylor herself. Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, also confirmed she was not behind the remix. "I’m so anonymous on the Internet," Anderfjärd says over Zoom from her studio. "It’s pretty fun to see people speculating, like, 'Are you Taylor Swift?' I read that some people thought I was a witch. It’s pretty weird to have Taylor Swift write about me and no one know who I am." She is, in fact, real – and she's also an artist that Taylor called "a bad ass female producer I really respect".
3) Elvira first discovered piano when she was 6 years old.
After she finished piano school, she started writing songs and performed at different events. First album was recorded prior to her 15th birthday.
Once she understood that she is missing something, she started studying seriously and did so for 6 consecutive years in which she conquered vocal, classic music, theater, and opera.
After her studies, along with working as a host and creator of music television programs in the Ukrainian television at Kiev and as a model, she got heavily involved in music. Elvira experimented and recorded in a variety of musical combinations and styles: being involved in contemporary pop music, personal mixed-style exhibited in her album "INSIDE" (lots of drums with opera voice), and as a lead singer in the "FUSION ORCHESTRA".
Her album "PEACHY PINK" is a mixture of "gentle rock", "electronic pop", "jungle music" and jazz and other styles. The musical ideas were inspired by the lyrics of Edo Kaluski, and supported by many talented musicians.
Currently, Elvira is working on a new electronic project, which will come out soon.

Elvira Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Zombie Stomp! Zombie Stomp!
Zombie Stomp! Zombie Stomp!
Ow...
...
The air is cold and the sky was blood red
It's a perfect night for the dance of the undead
Everyone's comin' from miles around
These lyrics are from Elvira's song "Zombie Stomp." The chorus of the song repeats the phrase "Zombie Stomp," creating a catchy and rhythmic tune. The opening lines of the song set the scene for the dance, which is taking place on a cold and foreboding night with a blood-red sky. The lyrics suggest that the event is a gathering of zombies from all around the area.
The imagery used in the song is striking and creates a sense of spookiness and excitement. The idea of dancing zombies is a classic horror trope, and Elvira brings it to life with her unique style. As an iconic symbol of Halloween, Elvira has created a song that perfectly captures the mood of the season. The song's lyrics are playful yet eerie, giving the listener a sense of fun and fear at the same time.
