Can I meet with you?
Can we go somewhere quiet
And have a little talk alone?
Just us two
You know I wanna be with you
I can't keep running
A million miles can't keep me away
From the pictures of you in my head
Love
Can I see you?
You can meet me there
Or I can come to you
Who cares?
Long as it's just us two
You know I wanna be with you
I can't keep running
I'll stay here on your bed instead
A million miles won't keep me away
From the pictures of you in my head
Oh
You know I wanna be with you
I can't keep running
I'll stay here on your bed instead
A million miles won't keep me away
From the pictures of you in my head

I legit broke into tears when they played this scene at the end of Elvis (2022). He was literally on the verge of death, but you wouldn’t have known because of his voice. It’s as if this performance was his final farewell to the world and no one knew.

Fat, panting, his breathing heavy, almost choked in his throat when he speaks, he transforms completely as he sings, into the lithe boy of yesteryear.

@gabriella prem I mean, there’s certainly plenty of modern songs which are good, it just tends to be a lot of the mainstream music that isn’t that great imo especially the rap music, but there’s certainly still some good rappers out there.
