Double Trouble
Elvis Presley Lyrics

Some guys fall in love with one girl, I gotta fall for two
There's just so much loving that one heart's supposed to do
So I go around with my heart dragging on the ground
Dogging me around, I'm the sorriest sight in town

[Chorus]
I got double trouble, I got double trouble
I got double trouble twice as much as anybody else oh yeah!

I guess there's gotta be two dark clouds hanging over me
My future looks a bumpy as a matchbox on the sea
Every time I think that I have finally got it made
Some losing cards are played, I just can't make the grade

[Chorus: x2]

I always thought was one of his best movie songs.

Russell Jones

No word in existence to explain how great the man was

That's me next to Elvis with the red Fender guitar on the right of the screen. What fun we had making this movie, also me on the sax in a couple of shots. Funny how they cut this song out of sequence for this clip.

Great song. Most of his movie songs were great. I don't care what critics say.

Well he is basically is a twin.
His twin brother Jessie died at birth.

‘Double Trouble’ indicated how far Elvis’s film career had fallen. Moronic storyline. mediocre songs and awful acting! These type of films made lots of money at the box office, despite the rapidly dwindling audience of young people going to watch them. However, the films themselves merely demonstrated how marginalised Elvis had become in the world of popular music! The 60’s was a time of rapid change in both music and films, but Elvis got left behind, as these films were churned out on an assembly line basis! Elvis was caught in a time warp.

Buena voz, como actor es pésimo... :)

A very mediocre film, which merely confirmed that Elvis’s film career was in free fall! Flimsy storyline, puerile and cliched dialogue, together with some pretty bad acting, handed film goers another turkey! Elvis seemed to be sleepwalking through the film.

Tom Baker

Title song's dire, too.

One of Elvis’s worst films! Strictly chewing gum for the eyes movie! Ludicrous & puerile storyline, dreadful acting and third rate dialogue! This is a film only to be shown very late at night if you suffer from insomnia!
