I Forgot to Remember to Forget
Elvis Presley Lyrics

I forgot to remember to forget her
I can't seem to get her off my mind
I thought I'd never miss her
But I found out somehow
I think about her almost all the time
The day she went away
I made myself a promise
That I'd soon forget we ever met
But something sure is wrong
'Cause I'm so blue and lonely
I forgot to remember to forget

The day she went away
I made myself a promise
That I'd soon forget we ever met
Well, but something sure is wrong
'Cause I'm so blue and lonely
I forgot to remember to forget

🎼🎙🎸 Since Elvis Presley's death on August 16, 1977, I've been a loyal but sometimes critical Elvis Presley fan! When Elvis Presley died in 1977 at the age of only 42, I was only 12 years old and had known little about Elvis Presley before! I currently own over 566 Presley CDs / records and a total of over 1270 different Elvis Presley items (e.g. films, shows, characters, bocks etc.)! I will continue to be an Elvis Presley fan, but occasionally I also listen to music from other singers and music groups!

🎼 My large Elvis Presley collection currently consists of over 546 CDs, 119 records, 276 DVDs, 30 Blu-rays, 44 music cassettes, 26 Caps, 80 video cassettes, 80 books, 89 figures, 68 calendars, 15 clocks, 169 posters, 18 fabric posters, 78 badges , 26 hats, 36 cups, 38 collector coins, 230 postcards, 59 wall clocks, 28 Flags, 16 rings, 36 mirrors, 26 necklaces, 19 life-size star cuts, 16 lighters and a lot more! 🎙

B. Filme, Bücher, Shows, Charaktere usw.)!

Strangely not a lot of people know that this was Elvis's 1st ever and only number 1 for the sun label.. It stayed on the Billboard charts for 39 weeks longer than any other song he ever made including houndog, don't be cruel it's now or never none surpassed I forgot to remember to forget..

Truth Hitman

What about Heartbreak Hotel ?

Hamlet's Mill

On the country charts.

James Adcock

Didn't know that

David Robinson

Charlie Feathers was partially credited for writing this but it was the sole work of Stan Kesler. Charlie Feathers recorded the demo for the song and Elvis immediately liked it. Charlie and Elvis were buddies anyways and Charlie Feathers was at the Million Dollar Quartet session. Charlie Feathers had to leave part way through and Elvis can be heard saying see you later Charlie.
