I Forgot to Remember to Forget
Elvis Presley Lyrics

I forgot to remember to forget her
I can't seem to get her off my mind
I thought I'd never miss her
But I found out somehow
I think about her almost all the time
The day she went away
I made myself a promise
That I'd soon forget we ever met
But something sure is wrong
'Cause I'm so blue and lonely
I forgot to remember to forget

The day she went away
I made myself a promise
That I'd soon forget we ever met
Well, but something sure is wrong
'Cause I'm so blue and lonely
I forgot to remember to forget

You know what John Lennon said? I think you do if you're such a big fan.. He said: "Before Elvis there was nothing"

And never will be anyone like him again. R.I.P. Elvis x

@anna maria facchiano Man, fuck Lennon. He was the one who broke up the Beatles, not Yoko Ono. She gets all the crap, and yes she might me slightly insane, but it wasn’t her fault that the Beatles broke up. It was Lennon, who brought her into the studio constantly without checking in with the band, obsessed over her and caused friction. Even his most popular song is just a Marxist allegory. “No possessions”, “no religion”, “no countries”... blegh. Get out of here.

John

Strange as he passed off Elvis with his scouse sarcasm when he met him
Elvis tried to get him kicked out of the US.

@ladybird MJ is offended But yes After Elvis hardly anything

ladybird

He should have added: "And after Elvis there was hardly anything".
