I Just Can't Help Believin'
Elvis Presley Lyrics

I just can't help believin'
When she smiles up soft and gentle
With a trace of misty morning
And the promise of tomorrow in her eyes

I just can't help believin'
When she's lying close beside me
And my heart beats with the rhythm of her sighs
This time the girl is gonna stay
This time the girl is gonna stay
For more than just a day

Well, I just can't help believin'
When she slips her hand in my hand
And it feels so small and helpless
And my fingers fold around it like a glove

And I just can't help believin'
When she's whispering her magic
And her tears are shining honey sweet with love
This time the girl is gonna stay (this time the girl is gonna stay)
This time the girl is gonna stay
For more than just a day

For more than just a day
(Oh I just can't help believing) sing the song
(Oh I just can't help believing) one more time
(Oh I just can't help believing) yeah, one more
(Oh I just can't help believing)

For more than just a day

Oh, I just can't help believin'
When she slips her hand in my hand
And it feels so small and helpless
And my fingers fold around it like a glove

I just can't help believin'
When she smiles and whispering her magic
And her tears are shining honey sweet with love
This time the girl is gonna stay (this time the girl is gonna stay)
This time the girl is gonna stay
For more than just a day

(Oh I just can't help believing) take it
(Oh I just can't help believing) yo
(Oh I just can't help believing)
(Oh I just can't help believing)

@Glenn Boyden I was a teen then! We loved his recordings and played & replayed them-
“Put your sweet lips a little closer to the phone” - more!
Elvis came in the young 50’s for radio , then Tv. Saw Ed Sullivan Shows, Milton BerleDhow, ,etc. we were 20+ years with babies & toddlers by then.
In ‘77, we saw Elvis live in SC Colosseum. Paunchy in belly & face, those gorgeous sideburns were covered with longer, bushier hair. I loved sideburns, still popular from our teens .
I haven’t found which month that was. Have forgotten , but the year of his last concerts.
Still it was a once in a lifetime
experience! No impersonator attained his Excelente’. and no movie truly represented the true spirit of him.
Recently found his son, that is the son of Pastor Bob Joyce Matt, also an impersonator, and and in ETA leadership! He has a dynamic we will see/ hear more from in time!
Meanwhile there’s NO CAN DO same as Elvis!🎵🕺🇺🇸🤗

Inveja. É o que posso dizer. Elvis forever 💋😍🤩

I’m 13, 70s elvis is my favorite! everything is unbelievable! My friends think Elvis is junk. And just talk some stupid shit about him. But I ignore that and go on with my life and still rock out to this day.

I saw Elvis in concert when I was 15 at the Hilton in Las Vegas. My mom flew us over for his concert. I sat right next to the right side of the stage, when he walked out I waved at him and he made eye contact with me and waved back.He was just great and I appreciate him so much more now that I am older. What a beautiful man with so much talent. In sad times I have always listened to his music and also in good times. He still makes my days so much better knowing that his music graces our world.

YOU ARE SO LUCKY! Everyone who met Elvis only speaks super highly of him and what a wonderful and kind human being he was and how special and truly unique he was. It‘s so sad I can never meet him or see him live at a concert. I was born to late…
