i'm Left%2C You're Right%2C She's Gone
Elvis Presley Lyrics

Well, you're right, I'm left, she's gone
You're right, and I'm left all alone
Well, you tried to tell me so
But how was I to know
That she was not the one for me?

You told me all along
You're right, our love was so wrong
But now I changed my mind
Because she broke the ties that bind
And I know that she never cared for me

Well, I thought I knew just what she'd do
I guess I'm not so smart
Oh, you tried to tell me all along she'd only break my heart
I'm left, you're right, she's gone
You're right, and I'm left all alone

Well, she's gone I know not where
But now I just don't care
For now I'm falling for you

If you'll forgive me now
I'll make it up somehow
So happy we will be
In a home just for three
And I'll soon forget her now I know

Well, I thought I knew just what she'd do
I guess I'm not so smart
You tried to tell me all along
She'd only break my heart

Well, you're right, I'm left, she's gone
You're right, and I'm left all alone
Well, she's gone, I know not where
But now I just don't care
For now I've fallen for you

Scotty's solo is one of the best solo ever played!!!

True legend

@alexcarratu5554

Nearly 70 years old this recording, but sounds so great for nearly 70 years old. The genius of Elvis, Scotty and Bill: a winning combination.

I was in 2nd year high school when this came out.....and, it was on our lunchroom jukebox. Tough to each lunch to the rhythm of song!

@@blackholeentry3489, nice one. Such a great song.

@lukedrifter1

If Elvis never cut another record after those 5 SUN singles, he'd still be the greatest of all time.

@FloridaVOCFB

Amen.

@mistermasterson

Those first five singles changed history no one will ever match or outdo them they will never be out of date and all the heavy metal ravers shouting to the devil and all the goofy punk bands whining and moaning about politics will never be able to dredge up the level of raw power that Elvis had on these songs.The best Rock and Roll of all time!
