Dime
Ely Guerra Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Dime, dime
Si mis manos te tocaran bien y yo apretara
Puedes resistir?
Dime, dime, dime (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
The lyrics of the song "Dime" by Ely Guerra convey a sense of vulnerability and longing. The singer asks a series of questions to the person she loves, questioning whether they would be happier if she was with them or if she could fulfill their physical desires. The lyrics are presented in a soft and almost pleading tone, showcasing the singer's willingness to do anything to please the person she loves.
The first verse of the song suggests that the singer is willing to make sacrifices to be with the person she loves. The singer asks if the person would be happier if she traveled to their location, which indicates a sense of distance between them. In the second verse, the singer shows her vulnerability by admitting that she is unhappy when the person is not around. The chorus of the song is a plea to the person to tell her if they would be happier if she fulfilled their desires.
Overall, the lyrics of "Dime" are about the desire for intimacy and connection with a loved one. The singer is willing to do anything to please the person she loves, but she also acknowledges the fear of rejection and the uncertainty of being vulnerable.
