In Emel's song Her Gece, the singer expresses her love for her partner and how their presence brings joy to her life. The opening lines "Yüzümde güller açar gözün gözüme değince yüreğim kuş olur uçar bana gelince" (Roses bloom on my face when your eyes meet mine, my heart turns into a bird and flies when you come to me) describe the overwhelming feeling of happiness and elation that she experiences when she is in the presence of her partner.
