The next five years Emerald Mind continued working on new songs and trying to record a quality demo. In those days it was not an easy task, because Vladivostok was too far away from any metal music industry. Finally, in november 2009, band released their first album “Tales Of Soveena” and moved to St. Petersburg to discover new horizons.
The northern capital met the musicians with the cold wind and lots of challenges. So even the very existence of the band was under question. In 2011 Alexey and Svetlana decided to move on and start writing new material for the second album. So at this moment this work almost done and we can’t wait to share with you our hopes, dreams, experience and feelings that we put in our music!

The lyrics to Emerald Mind's song Breathless Kiss speak of a yearning for an eternal embrace, even beyond the realm of the living. The fading sun and the appearance of the "silver Queen" hint at a supernatural element, as does the reference to "ancient runes" and a "vial filled with blood". The singer wishes for their lover's hug, but laments the fact that their physical form is "laying under ground" and their skin is cold. In the second verse, the singer is "forever lost for morning light", and begs for the moon in a lonely night. The lines "I'm so real, so alive, walking through bloody mist" are ambiguous - is the singer a ghostly presence, or have they undergone some sort of ritual that has granted them a new form of life? Either way, their embrace comes with a warning - their lover's heart will be burned by their breathless kiss.
The themes of immortality and the supernatural in Breathless Kiss evoke classic gothic imagery, but the lyrics also touch on the human fear of death and the longing for a deeper connection beyond this mortal coil.
