The next five years Emerald Mind continued working on new songs and trying to record a quality demo. In those days it was not an easy task, because Vladivostok was too far away from any metal music industry. Finally, in november 2009, band released their first album “Tales Of Soveena” and moved to St. Petersburg to discover new horizons.
The northern capital met the musicians with the cold wind and lots of challenges. So even the very existence of the band was under question. In 2011 Alexey and Svetlana decided to move on and start writing new material for the second album. So at this moment this work almost done and we can’t wait to share with you our hopes, dreams, experience and feelings that we put in our music!
Civilization
Emerald Mind Lyrics

Breathing
This world's so close
Just look around
Stunning
Feeling
Like everything is just unreal
Far from the city
Chains weaken
Nervous reaction
Everything's offline
Get to a first train
Even if it rains
Searching salvation
Out of civilization
Over the sea and far away
Longing to start a brand new day
Dance in the rays of morning sun,
Feelings are real when you are…
The lyrics of Emerald Mind's song "Civilization" reflect a person's sense of detachment from their fast-paced and busy urban lifestyle as they embark on a journey to find peace and salvation away from civilization. The opening lines, "Touching, breathing, this world's so close, just look around," are a reminder of the beauty that surrounds us and how much closer we are to nature than we realize. The subsequent lines, "Stunning, feeling, like everything is just unreal," implies a surreal feeling that comes with being away from the city's hustle and bustle, the noise, and pollution.
The chorus of the song emphasizes the need to break free from society's chains and seek solitude to find oneself. The lyrics, "Far from the city, chains weaken, nervous reaction, everything's offline," suggest a sense of liberation and calmness away from civilization's chaos. The lines "Get to a first train, even if it rains, searching salvation, out of civilization" depicts the struggle to break free from society's norms, even in unfavorable conditions, in the search for inner peace and salvation.
