Decide
Emily Robins & Maddy Tyers Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Today, today
Everything u say is maybe,
I would never know if we're here
To stay
I see you right through u
Decide what you're wating for
(What you're wating for)
Cause i don't think i can wating anymore
Decide what you're wating for
(What you're wating for)
Come on, come on
Yeah
Decide what you're wating for
(What you're wating for)
Cause i don't think i can wating anymore
Decide what you're wating for
(What you're wating for)
Come on, come on
Yeah
Try so run away
All u try to break
I'm still wating, be here for u
And i, let you for 1 day
But now the time to change
I'm still wating
Still wating
Decide what you're wating for
(What you're wating for)
Cause i don't think i can wating anymore
Decide what you're wating for
(What you're wating for)
Come on, come on
Yeah
Decide what you're wating for
(What you're wating for)
Cause i don't think i can wating any more
Decide what you're wating for
(What you're wating for)
Come on, come on
Yeah
Come on, come on
Yeah

Come on, come on
Yeah

Overall Meaning

The song "Decide" by Emily Robins & Maddy Tyers highlights the theme of ambiguity and uncertainty in relationships. The lyrics suggest that the singer is unsure of the other person's feelings towards them, as every statement is met with a "maybe." The singer urges the other person to make a decision about what they want and stop playing games, as the waiting has become unbearable. Despite the ambiguity, the singer portrays their loyalty by stating that they will still be there for the other person, but only if they make a decision and commit to it.

Furthermore, the lyrics convey a sense of frustration and impatience on the part of the singer. They are tired of waiting for the other person to make up their mind, and are at the point where they cannot wait any longer. The repetition of the phrase "decide what you're waiting for" emphasizes this sense of urgency and the need for resolution. Overall, the song captures the ups and downs of relationships and the importance of clear communication and commitment.

@ascesemphia

Exactly... there's nothing wrong. Just because it's a song from a series from teens, it doesn't mean it's a shame to listen to it. I, for instance, am 23 and I listen to anything I like, from Disney to pop, to musicals, to classical music. (;
