Naked
Emily Weisband Lyrics

Comparing myself
Is a dangerous game to play, mhm
I'm laying in bed
And it's keeping me awake, oh, oh

'Cause I heard you found somebody new
And I saw a picture of you two
I'm going through hell
Comparing myself, oh-oh-oh
Now I'm obsessing over it
And I'm second guessing everything
I'm going through hell
Comparing myself

Does she make love like I made it?
Would you rather hear her say it?
Does she look better than me naked?
(Here)

How did you meet?
Is your story better than ours? (Oh oh, oh oh)
'Cause I'm laying in bed
And it's breaking my broken heart, oh, no, yeah

'Cause I heard you found somebody new
And I saw a picture of you two
Looks like you're doing well
I'm comparing myself, oh
Now I'm obsessing over it
And I'm second guessing everything
I'm going through hell
Comparing myself

Does she make love like I made it?
Would you rather hear her say it?
Does she look better than me naked?
Do her eyes get you like mine did?
Whatever was missing, did you find it?
Does she look better than me naked
Than me naked, than me naked?

Na, na, na, no, oh
Than me naked, na, na, na no
No, no, no no
Naked
Than me naked, than me naked
Hear her say it
Does she look better than me naked,
Than me naked, than me naked?

Does she make love like I made it?
Would you rather hear her say it?
Does she look better than me naked
Than me naked, me naked? (Yeah)

Does she make love like I made it?
Would you rather hear her say it?
Does she look better than me naked
Than me naked, than me naked?
Do her eyes get you like mine did?
Whatever was missing, did you find it?

Does she look better than me naked
Than me naked, than me naked, yeah

I’m so excited that THE NAKED MUSIC VIDEO IS OUT. A healthy dose of insecurity and sideboob. It’s been quite the journey with this video. We went through treatment after treatment. Of all my songs, Naked was the one that I didn’t have a music video idea for so it was a hard code to crack. We shot for two days. One day in a studio the same day we shot the Identity Crisis video. They did my hair up like Gigi Hadid after sexy time and told me to sit on this stool and sing the song through 3 or 4 times. Day two was at a house way out in the middle of God knows where. We had hired tons of extras, a whole film crew and set designers… there were party scenes, dancing scenes, shots of me taking shots with cute boys, shots with mirrors, card games, glowsticks, judgy b wordy looking girls, shots of me seeing the new girl my ex has been dating for the first time… hell I ended the night in a pool by myself for some dope “floating in the middle of the pool by myself while everybody parties around me” shots. It was a HOOPLA. We did it up. And then we watched it all back and we realized that this song isn’t about any of that stuff. This song is about me when I’m by myself in my room believing shit that’s just not true about myself. This song isn’t at a house party… this song is in my head. So the video had to be that too. All that day 1 studio performance footage felt right—authentic to what these moments of me comparing myself to the people around me actually look and feel like. Lonely and bare and trapped but still weirdly beautiful and VERY NORMAL. Throw in a solid scolding from my best friend MacKenzie and we have ourselves a music video folks!

you know an artist has totally captured you when you feel feelings you’ve never felt before about a situation you‘ve never been through before but it does feel like your own tragedy. she has way too much talent and oh my God her voice

Ik right there are so many singers that we dont know of and i keep discovering them through spotify and youtube. These people deserve the fame and recogintion for their talents. There are so many singers who have no talent but are super popular like lil pump , blue face, bunny, etc.. unbeliveable

I listen to this song every day. We are our worst critics/enemies sometimes. We are all so beautiful and unique in our own way. Sometimes we want things.. feel like we need them. God has such a better plan for us, and we have to keep faith in that.. even though it’s so hard to allow it to happen. Even though that person doesn’t want you.. and you’re sitting their thinking.. what do they have that I don’t? I want to be good enough. You are SO good enough...know your worth.
If someone can see a future without you, and it not break their heart.., what are y’all doing?
Beautiful video! Proud of you, and excited to see more of your music in the future! Music is healing.
