In 2005 he releases Rocanrolero, his second solo album, produced by Tweety González and with collaboration in some songs of former Illya Kuryaki partner, Dante Spinetta

Tu Estado
Emmanuel Horvilleur Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
sé que estás quebrado
pero vas a estar mejor.
Llegarán los días
en que las heridas
cicatricen con el sol...
surfeando la ola con emoción.
Yo ya sé mi estado,
tan enamorado
que se vé que me hace mal.
Con la soga al cuello,
mirando tu bello
y lo bello que es mirar...
Como en un viaje por la ciudad,
surfeando la ola hasta el final.
Yo ya sé tu estado,
sé que estás quebrado
pero vas a estar mejor...
como en un viaje
que no pide peaje a la emoción,
abre tu ventanilla y vé
todo lo que nos da esta promoción.
Junta tres tapitas,
tres de tu cabeza
y ubica el sol...
miénteme un eclipse,
cuéntame un buen chiste,
va a ser mejor.
Yo ya sé tu estado,
sé que estás quebrado
pero vas a estar mejor...
vos sabés mi estado,
tan enamorado,
es lo mejor.
The opening lines of Emmanuel Horvilleur's song Tu Estado set the tone for this piece, as it offers words of comfort and hope to someone who is feeling down. The singer tells the listener that he knows their state and that they are broken, but he also assures them that things will get better. The next lines encourage the listener to allow time for healing and that eventually, the wounds will heal, symbolizing the return of happiness and joy in their life again.
The second verse shifts the focus to the singer's state, revealing that he too is in a bad place, as he is too in love that it's making him ill. He describes himself as having a rope tied around his neck, suggesting feeling trapped and suffocated in the overwhelming emotions of love. However, he finds solace in looking at the beauty of his partner and feeling grateful that he gets to experience it.
Overall, Tu Estado is a song that utilizes a couple of metaphors to connote that pain and pleasure coexist in life, and at times, we might be in a difficult situation. However, healing and moving forward require a bit of patience, the willingness to embrace positive changes and optimism, and lastly, the support of loved ones.
