1) Emmi Kangasjärvi is a Finnish singer-songwriter who sings in English. She was born on October 10, 1979 in Vilppula, Finland. She became famous thanks to her single Breakable, which was released in February 2001. In May 2001 her second single Crashing Down and her debut album Solitary Motions were released. Two other quite well known songs from that album are Green Car and Solitary Motions. She was nominated as the Best Nordic Act by MTV Europe Music Awards in 2001. However, the award was won by the Danish band Safri Duo.
There are two versions of Emmi's second album No Nothing. The first one was released only for Finnish market in October 2002. The second one was released for international as well as Finnish market in early 2003. The differences between the versions are the order of songs and the fact that the second version contains two tracks that are not contained in the first version, namely Into The World and World Is Crazy. Conversely, the song Toss Me Down is contained in the first version but not in the second one.
The single Eileen was released in 2005. On October 5, 2005, Emmi's third album Can Full of Joy was released.

The daughter of a pilot, she travelled extensively as a very young child, living in far flung places such as Papua New Guinea and Alice Springs. Green began her musical career after being signed to a music publisher in Australia, writing songs for Neil Davidge of Massive Attack and Little Nikki.
Green cites classical music, jazz and Shirley Temple movies as her influences.

Emmi Lyrics

The ink has run out, and so I'm incomplete, oh no
I cry, I wait for my becoming
I cry, I wait for my becoming
I shot a bullet through my heart
I shot a bullet through my heart
I am but a fool, I drift on your desires
I watched as all ended, I came around to sigh
I lied, I always saw it coming
I lied, forever saw it coming
Oh no
I know
Oh no
I tried
Emmi's song "Bullet" talks about feeling incomplete and lost in a relationship where she constantly tries to please her partner. The opening lines "I, I'm a piece of paper, I lay on your floor" describes her vulnerability and how she feels like she has no real substance or worth in the relationship. She feels like the ink has run out, which means that she has no more to give and is incomplete. This is a metaphor for how she feels neglected and unappreciated, and how the relationship is draining her.
She then talks about crying and waiting for her becoming, which means that she is waiting for the moment where she can break free from the toxic relationship and become her true self. However, in the next lines, she admits that she shot a bullet through her heart, which means that she caused herself pain and hurt by staying in the relationship.
In the chorus, she repeats the line "I shot a bullet through my heart," which ultimately was a self-destructive act that she thinks she did it out of love. She then talks about how she is just a fool who drifts on her partner's desires and how she lied to herself by thinking that she wouldn't get hurt. She feels like she has always seen the end coming but was still helpless.
Overall, "Bullet" is a poignant song that touches on themes of heartbreak, self-destruction, and the struggle to find oneself in a toxic relationship.
