1) Emmi Kangasjärvi is a Finnish singer-songwriter who sings in English. She was born on October 10, 1979 in Vilppula, Finland. She became famous thanks to her single Breakable, which was released in February 2001. In May 2001 her second single Crashing Down and her debut album Solitary Motions were released. Two other quite well known songs from that album are Green Car and Solitary Motions. She was nominated as the Best Nordic Act by MTV Europe Music Awards in 2001. However, the award was won by the Danish band Safri Duo.
There are two versions of Emmi's second album No Nothing. The first one was released only for Finnish market in October 2002. The second one was released for international as well as Finnish market in early 2003. The differences between the versions are the order of songs and the fact that the second version contains two tracks that are not contained in the first version, namely Into The World and World Is Crazy. Conversely, the song Toss Me Down is contained in the first version but not in the second one.
The single Eileen was released in 2005. On October 5, 2005, Emmi's third album Can Full of Joy was released.
2) Emily Joy Green, known by her stage name Emmi, is a British-Australian singer and songwriter.
Emily Green was born in Torquay, Devon, England, the middle child of an older brother and a younger sister. The daughter of a pilot, she travelled extensively as a very young child, living in far flung places such as Papua New Guinea and Alice Springs. Moving school nine times before settling in Perth, Australia, Emmi got used to feeling like the outsider and began to focus on her love of dancing, and left home at the age of 16 to study dance full-time in Sydney.
Green began her musical career after being signed to a music publisher in Australia, writing songs for Neil Davidge of Massive Attack and Little Nikki.
Green cites classical music, jazz and Shirley Temple movies as her influences.

@5KA4
So glad I found you from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. You're a talented singer, and i love your creativity with music. Can't wait to see you become even more popular.
@happinessisach0ice
Finally a new voice 🔥🔥🔥
@avouleance
This is beautiful.
As an exploration of a deeply personal and internal issue there's a real intimacy to this song.
And as someone who has experience my own anxiety it's definitely a relateable feeling.
There's a inherent difficulty in presenting something that clearly isn't rational with distance but feels true up close, it takes skill to help the audience see it from their point of view and this song accomplishes that well.
And that's not mentioning that it just sounds great, from a intricacy of the writing point of view I love a lot of the wordplay you do here and think it contributes to the empathy of the piece and helps characterize the voice (and a more personal voice is so important in helping the narrator feel real).
You're one of my favorite artists and a lot of what you do here is something I'm trying to emulate in my own writing and poetry as I also want to explore similarly personal issues using complex language.

avouleance Wow. Thank you so much for writing to me. I’m so glad it speaks to you. And I’m so glad that me speaking my story/feelings out touches you as if it were your own. It only goes to show that we humans aren’t as different as we might think. I wish you all the best with your own writing. Keep going! X
@EmmiOfficialMusic
Ps. You got the word play! Thank God. I thought it was only me that listened to lyrics. 😂
@avouleance
@@EmmiOfficialMusic Thank you, it's early days but right now I'm just looking to get my writing in as many places as possible and get attention from the people who can find it most helpful.
I'd be happy to share some if you're interested.
For now I'm mostly self publishing on reddit at Pareidolia and the Gilded Scar.
I agree that there's really good work to be done in being open with emotions and experiences to help people feel less alone, especially when these experiences can be isolating and make it harder for people to come forward.
And good luck with your work too.
@avouleance
@@EmmiOfficialMusic I can relate to that feeling people don't always notice the wording, but I think people ultimately do, and the effort is well worth it.
