It is kind of baffling to me how much I love this cover when I just can't stand the original. I have always found the original to be sung too high to be pleasant to my ears, but this arrangement is in my opinion just a well-rounded and beautiful masterpiece, and with the purple lighting it brings a lovely little additional sprinkle of Prince to the video.

I remember when Prince was coming into his own. I recall the release of this song and its. All great times listening to a brilliant musical genius creating a sound that was unique and fascinating. I loved his music from the start all the way through his music in Batman. I still have those albums and CDs and listen to them to this day now and then. But I must say, I think you guys outplayed him. Your version of this song is by far my favorite to date! Thank you for sharing.
