We are often misguided or influenced by forces beyond our control

With nothing but a distant cry
With only a small voice inside ourselves to guide us

From deep within a soul
From the innermost part of our being

A wordless voice
An unspoken intuition that guides us

To guide us on the way
To help us find our true path in life

Desperately we name the voice
Desperately searching for the source of our intuition and inner guidance

And make the cries our own
Taking ownership of our inner voice and following it wholeheartedly

As if to deny the fact
As if to ignore the truth that we are ultimately alone in our journey

That we are all alone

In solitude we mingle
Even when surrounded by others, we can feel lonely and separate
