Başka adamlarla
Başka şehirlerde yürürken
Okuduğun ilk roman
Sevdiğin ilk adam
Yasal acılarından
Hatta yalnızlıktan
Başka adamlara
Başka şehirlerde
Belli etmezsin
Belki bir gün özlersin
Sil gözünün yalnızlıklarını
O an fısılda duvarlara adımı
Bin bıçak var sırtımda
Biniyle de adaşsın
Herbiri hayran sana
Sil gözünün yalnızlıklarını
O an fısılda duvarlara adımı
Bin bıçak var sırtımda
Biniyle de adaşsın
Herbiri hayran sana
Belki bir gün özlersin
Başka adamlarla
Başka şehirlerde yürürken
Seçtiğin bu hayat
Geçtiğin son adam
Yasal acılarından
Hatta yalnızlıktan
Sessiz harfler seçersin
Başka adamlara
Başka şehirlerde
Belli etmezsin
Belki bir gün özlersin
Sil gözünün yalnızlıklarını
O an fısılda duvarlara adımı
Bin bıçak var sırtımda
Biniyle de adaşsın
Herbiri hayran sana
Sil gözünün yalnızlıklarını
O an fısılda duvarlara adımı
Bin bıçak var sırtımda
Biniyle de adaşsın
Herbiri hayran sana
The lyrics to Emre Aydın's song "Belki Bir Gün Özlersin" (Maybe One Day You'll Miss) tell the story of a past love that may one day be missed. The song begins with the line "Belki bir gün özlersin, başka adamlarla, başka şehirlerde yürürken" (Maybe one day you'll miss me while walking with other men in other cities) which sets the tone for the rest of the song. The singer acknowledges that the person he is singing to may one day be walking with other men in other cities, and that may remind them of the times they spent together.
The lyrics then move on to reference significant moments in their past, such as "Okuduğun ilk roman" (The first book you read), "Sevdiğin ilk adam" (The first man you loved), and "Yasal acılarından" (The legal pain). The singer knows that even though this person may move on and find other loves and other experiences, they may still one day miss the times they shared together.
The chorus repeats the idea that maybe one day they will miss each other, and the verses expand on the idea of the past and the memories that may be missed. The song ends with the line "Herbiri hayran sana" (Each of them is a fan of you) which can be interpreted as a bittersweet acknowledgement that the person the singer is singing to will continue to find love and admiration elsewhere, but they will always be remembered and celebrated for the time they spent together.
