Encyclopedia made an album called 'So Hot Right Now' which was released in 2006 on T Shirt Records in the UK and in Japan on Littlebird Records the following year. The single 'Emily' came from this album and was released on Alcopop to no critical acclaim.
As of 2009, Encyclopedia developed into a five piece rock band. Their first release in this form came in the way of a single entitled 'Hilary' and was followed with a full-length album.
The album 'Difficult Season' was made and never released in 2009. The line-up at this point in time consisted of; Adam Clements, Oliver Herdsman, Nick Jacobs, Sébastien Renaud & Benjamin J Wood.

-also the amount of emotion you show in this entry is fantastic, and kind of necessary when making a documentary on an almost purposefully undocumentable thing

The author actually once explained exactly what his intent was with this book. You actually hit the nail on the head: it's meant to emulate the experience a young child who can't yet read has when they come across an illustrated encyclopedia.
