They describe their music as "ugliest aggressive black metal with the fire-speed of an MG42 and the power of heavy ship-artillery". The lyrics refer, to a large extent, to personal experiences and opinions of the band members. In its self-manifestation, the group refers to well-known German weapons from the time of World War II. This, in addition to the band's lyrics, is sometimes seen an indication of a right-wing extremist affinity within the band. Endstille clearly dissociates itself from such labels, explains to have no sympathies for right-wing ideas and says black metal "is in its principle unpolitical". Regarding those same allegations: Cruor, bassist for the band, has gone on record saying, "I think that politics have a place in music... but not in black metal or any other metal genre! I absolutely can't understand this NS/white power nonsense in the black metal scene. I don't get the idea behind that."

Beggarly incompetent
Waiting for orders
Drowning in chaos... Verführer...
Negate responsibility
Craving for suppression

Rising empire?
God, Dealder, Redeemer - Verführer!

Anxiety to please
Total annihilation
God, Dealer, Redeemer - Verführer!
Lover, Pervert, Emperor - Verführer!
thanatophilia
souleviction
pure devotion
bloody sacrifice...
Verführer!
Verfürrer!
The lyrics to Endstille's song Endstille are highly charged and filled with evocative imagery that speaks to the dark underbelly of humanity's longing for leadership, control, and power. The opening lines paint a picture of a society that is fraught with uncertainty and despair, as the "creeping masses" are "beggarly incompetent" and "drowning in chaos" with no clear direction or purpose. The figure of the "Verführer" - which translates to "seducer" or "tempter" in English - looms large over the scene, offering a false sense of hope and guidance to those who are willing to follow him.
The lyrics go on to describe the Verführer as an "immortal leader" who inspires "divine infatuation" in his followers, even as he craves "total annihilation" and revels in the "slobbering erection" of violent conquests and bloody battles. The chorus repeats the word Verführer in a mantra-like fashion, driving home the idea that this figure is both seductive and dangerous, a force to be reckoned with and feared in equal measure.
Overall, the lyrics to Endstille's song Endstille are a powerful commentary on the dangers of blind faith and the allure of charismatic leaders who seek to exploit our deepest fears and desires for their own gain. Through vivid and often disturbing imagery, the song paints a bleak picture of a world on the brink of collapse, where the only hope lies in resisting the temptations of those who would lead us down the path of destruction.
