70 year old Brit here.

Over my lifetime the country has changed immeasurably and certainly not for the better. As a nation we’ve repeatedly voiced our concerns and have been promised that both legal and illegal immigration would be brought under control. Politicians regardless of party have repeatedly done exactly the opposite for years. We are already a minority in most major cities and the demographic of many small towns across the country has changed drastically.

Blaming the riots we are currently experiencing on the “far right” is total nonsense. When Starmer made his first statement he stressed he would protect a specific group in society as though everyone else’s safety and security is irrelevant. This after 3 innocent children were brutally murdered by the son of immigrants, not forgetting numerous other serious attacks on British people. Starmer has clearly demonstrated he has very poor judgement, zero empathy and doesn’t care about the indigenous people of this country.

In his first few days in power his chancellor has cut the winter fuel payment to the elderly despite saying publicly “pensioners have nothing to fear from me” and also stating that the payment would kept in place. During the winter of 22/23 4,950 elderly people died as a direct result of cold related illnesses so this will no doubt increase substantially in 24/25. To add insult to injury his party has decided to spend £11.6 billion on overseas climate aid, send £3 billion to Ukraine, and are currently spending approximately £8 million per day housing illegal immigrants who’ll be well fed and kept warm this winter, while many elderly people will be cold and hungry. All of this funded by British tax payers, many of which will have paid National Insurance and tax for over 50 years.

Violence and destruction of property is never the answer but it’s a symptom of a problem that has been ignored by politicians of all persuasions for far too long. It should come as no surprise to any of them that this is happening and they are solely responsible.

Words can’t express how I feel about the sorry state of my country, it’s truly heartbreaking !

I went to the netherlands to a theme park and i noticed a "peaceful" family wondering around. It was man, wife, son, two daughters.

It started to rain, so the man went to one of the kiosks and bought two raincoats. I was waiting in the queue watching and waiting for my turn. He hands a coat to his son and keeps the other for himself. The man and son put on the raincoats and go to join the rest of the family. I noticed the wife and two daughters wern't bought a raincoat 🤷🏼‍♀️ they were getting soaked.

A few minutes go by..

The rain turned into a storm and everyone ran into whatever food hall had space. The man pointed at his wife and said something, then he and his son got shelter in the almost at capacity food hall. The wife and daughters were left in the pouring rain, no raincoats (the man and son still had them on) nothing.. Just standing in the middle of the storm, with lightening overhead, getting absolutely drenched.

This behaviour^ is completely UNNACEPTABLE. I couldn't believe what i was witnessing.

Those people in the past had different expectations AND there was no social welfare state to take care of them!
Nowadays, large numbers of people have been allowed to enter the country but are not required to INTEGRATE
into the society TO SURVIVE (i,e. learn the laws, learn the language, learn the customs) as happened in the USA and
Canada prior to the late 1960's ... Back then, If one did not have a job waiting; then someone had sign for and finacially
support that immigrant --So that he/she was not the state's/the taxpayers' responsibility,

No job, refusal to integrate, become a criminal = Quick deportation Things were not that good in the old country;
so most chose to integrate and get a job where there was a record of their employment. And, there were also a
lot of menial, low-skill, low-pay jobs back then -- So if you were not lazy you could make a living. [If you were sickly,
or mentally feeble, you were not admitted into the country]

The social welfare state can not exist without a very cohesive society. Where EVERYONE in the society shares in the
*expenses and benefits of that social order. The social welfare state can not exist with open borders and people who
draw out more money from the common pot than they put in with their taxes.

An American here, same thing is occuring in the USA. I don't blame the immigrants, they just want to improve their lives. Immigration should be a good thing, but our elites are using immigration as a tool to enact their agenda. When Klauss Schwab and his WEF (World Economic Forum) cronies meet and make statements like, "you will own nothing and you will be happy." You know their up to no good. I'm glad the UK voted in Brexit, but the elites are going to push their agenda, no matter what the people want and this immigration cluster is just one of the many responses to Brexit in my opinion. The real issue is the globalist and their agenda, Western Europe and the USA are both contending with them. They've got the power, but we've got the numbers. That's why their biggest tool is to keep everyone divided, that's the real reason for their immigration policy.

It has nothing to do with left or right wing, the British people have had enough of being overrun with immigrants. British people working hard are having to rely on food banks just to survive and they see these immigrants put up in comfortable accommodation and getting all the benefits while a lot of British born people are suffering homelessness. I have a relative who worked at one of these places where illegal immigrants are processed. Within 48hrs they had been seen by a doctor and a dentist and had been issued with mobile phones. They were not at all grateful and most were horrible to the staff who worked there.
When I try to get a doctor appointment I have to wait for a fortnight, I’ve been waiting for over 2yrs to see a consultant and yet these people have everything handed to them. We are second class citizens in our own country to which we pay our hard earned taxes. The mild mannered little people are fed up. This has been simmering for many years and sadly the tragedy of the murder of those innocent little children was the final straw. I’m so sad for my country and worried for the future. I also resent Kier Starmer labelling the majority of protesters as being far right as they aren’t. There will always be a number of those far right agitators who will use this for their own agenda.

The last time I was in London, I went to check out a very famous store. While we were ascending the escalator, there was a huge advertising banner of a naked man, his left side to the camera, his left leg conveniently bent upwards to block a view of his "unmentionables." Opposite him were two women with a water gun aimed at those unmentionables, so all eyes would be drawn to what they would be seeing. At the same time, coming down right underneath that banner were two Muslim women completely shrouded, only their eyes being exposed. That contrasting scene of no modesty vs extreme modesty could not have been more glaring and jarring. I said to my husband, "How is this supposed to work? I think the expectations of people who immigrated to countries like the United States and Canada in generations past had different expectations. They integrated and adopted the rules and language of the land while maintaining the traditions and language of their country of origins but didn't try to push it out on the rest of the nation. My children went to school in France ….. there were no interpreters (we obviously wanted them to learn French). Totally agree. Also, the mainstream media has played its part over the last couple of decades. The majority of people on all sides are decent and law abiding but weak governance, questionable agenda pushing and vilification of ordinary people concerned about illegal immigration, strains on infrastructure, and services due to the huge numbers of people using them without more being provided. One of the main characteristics of the British is an innate sense of fairness, something obviously missing when it comes to two tier policing and access to services. The media and politicians are mostly to blame on this, on all sides, the people have had enough, government are supposed to work for the people. Until they address the causes, not just the symptoms, this will reoccur time and time again. In the meantime more will be radicalised on all sides.

Immigration has to be seriously reduced. We can't get a doctor's appt, hospital waiting lists are the worst they've ever been, acre after acre of prime agricultural land is being concreted over for housing, the roads are increasingly congested - and not just at peak times, schools are overcrowded etc Yet rather than take steps to reduce the inflow the Labour Govt (who cultivate the migrant vote!) are about to give an amnesty to 90,000 illegal migrants and have stopped the proposed deportation programme. It's just madness and we ordinary people despair of this situation. It's really hard to see a good outcome here.

It was fine when they were brought as workers and became lower class, just like what happened to Africans and others.
In this case, what kind of good behavior can be considered for a society that already looks down on people? Think about how the rich people can live a good life without servants.
When the western and north people go to other holiday destinations, people are disturbed by this because they can create an overpopulation and make life more expensive for local people and harm the environment, Nobody does anything or talks about it. Then we need to accept and respect multi-ethnic and religious life. Noone is perfect, we can't keep blaming one another and should learn to accept each other. My local town may have a protest tomorrow. I'll be emptying my till and removing a few computers before I shut up shop tomorrow night. They are saying it's an EDL march, but they haven't existed for years. The propaganda is strong, and nobody wants open dialogue about the very real overpopulation and over stretched services. Thank you for your input on this subject. It is very enlightening. You are a smart cookie for sure!!! I can confirm that British people ARE being pushed to the back of the queue in social housing. I worked for 13 years, up until recently in Government housing, and we had to give priority to people coming into this country. British people ? We were told to hand out a leaflet with private leasing details and my boss told them clearly - " they will never get to the top of the list for a council house, so not to waste everyone's time by filling in forms" - that to me was so rude!!! Telling a guy that lived with his parents aged 21, that he will be living there forever - or have to pay three times the amount that migrants are paying for a rented home. Do remember not all young people are paid well enough to afford their own place!!!

Well said. We live in a coastal town the housing situation is hellish. Wages don't cover the rent and rarely qualify for a mortgage. people deny the diversity quotas on allocations put migrants at the front of the queue or just insist its acceptable. It’s frightening, I’m almost 74 & love my England but it’s changed so much in some areas it’s unrecognisable, normal British people have been demonised, insulted by our pm & ignored, our police have turned into thugs manhandling old & older women & men, disabled people & beating the living daylights out of young white men that just minutes before had been talking & laughing with them. Now we’re to have a Standing Army of police that will move freely around the Country & put any dissidents in prison but not if they are from a certain ethnic background which is being protected though! There is most definitely two tier policing, the grooming gangs had free rein to do anything they wanted because the police didn’t want to be called racist, they blamed it all on the young girls, one as young as ten was described as a prostitute which only rubbed salt into the wounds. TR, I’ll only use his initials, worked tirelessly to bring it all out into the open, he was sent to prison because he was causing distress to Pakistani men, he had to request solitary confinement for his own safety because his life was threatened, he spent his money on tinned tuna & bananas, he’s out of the Country on holiday with his children at the moment but they’re trying to pin the blame for the riots on him whereas he’s been trying too calm the situation down. Maggie Oliver an ex policewoman in Rochdale tried to raise the cases of multiple young girls with the GMP & was told too keep head head down or resign, no one wanted too know about the grooming gangs but she worked tirelessly against them & is a great woman. Now the Muslims are out in force but the police are ignoring their behaviour, it’s very wrong. I can’t see an end to the violence & as long as we have a pm that won’t admit that there are more than one side involved in the riots.

I've told my 27 yr old daughter not to start a family as there will be no future for us in this country in the next 20 years or so. That's sad to think that but you walk into the hospital and all cleaners don't speak English 90% of the nurses have very poor English that you give up trying to understand them. But there are no hospital appointments, or doctors plus they are allowed to be housed first via social housing so us who have paid all of our lives just keep getting kicked in the teeth until it gets to boiling point like it has now.

I am an American immigrant, and it cost me 67,000, when I came to the country the first time they did not like my passport was new and I was 45, grilled me for an hour, threatened to not let me out of the airport, call my now wife to make sure everything I told them was true. Meanwhile, no ID, illegal entry they hold the door open, it fucking crazy, wish I never did it at this point, so I closed my business here, let all my staff go, and will just live off my investments and savings as the house is paid for and all I have is counsel tax and national insurance payments. They lost my business tax, staff tax, and much bigger national insurance payment. I do love the country, and I do love the people but I feel the government is broken.

There is a high unemployment because the NHS is failing people. I live with 24 hour pain. If I had, had an operation after my last baby. My outcome would have 100% different. Every time I have asked for it to be sorted when another effect springs up. I told no, wait to something falls out! Now I just want them to remove my left leg and for the last 4 years I have suffered with my feet. I could have had an autoimmune suppressant prescribed and I could go out for the day without every step being agony. I am sick of it and now I know I will never get the treatment I need. We have the highest infant and mother mortality rate of any first world country and have one of the highest rates of death among patients with preventable ailments. We have one of the highest numbers of misdiagnosis and deaths caused by misdiagnosis. The list goes on and on. I can't say for sure which is better because both systems have just been managed and designed so poorly.

It is not just about immigration (a major factor, but more besides) as well as the non integration and the eroding of UK culture. All UK traditions are coming under threat as being called culturally insensitive. A good example of UK traditions being eroded is that we have celebrations of other cultures like Ramadan, Diwali etc but Christmas is effectively banned in case it offends other cultures, now being replaced with Happy Holidays, Christmas fairs have been actually banned by some councils. Imagine what would happen if the same logic were to be applied to the other culturally celebrations being renamed or effectively banned.

The only thing I heard about in the Midwest USA 🇺🇸 on the news regarding England was that God Awful stabbing of children and teachers who were trying to protect them. This whole world 🌎 is in a major crisis. We need God & Jesus more than ever now.

This problem started back in 1997 with Tony Blair and his Labour government when they opened up the boarders, not bad in itself but there was no checks, no required criteria, anyone could just walk in and get a free handout. This continues after the Conservatives took over, nobody has EVER fully addressed this issue in government it’s just swept under the rug. Britain is now in a position where it CANNOT AFFORD to keep doing this, but what does the government do? Refuses to address the issue.. Instead, we have misinformation flying around from both the left liberals and nationalists and then our dim-witted PM goes and throws a petrol bomb on an already smouldering fire.. National brits are unhappy, legal immigrants are unhappy and the nation needs the government to just stick its hands up and admit “We messed up..”

I have so much to say….I am very disheartened English woman.
I’m worried and I think most British citizens are too.

The crime in our town has gone up so much, that my daughter and I play the game “guess who died this week” on the weekly local paper. This week we have had stabbings, shootings and the court dates for the man charged with the horrific murders of a mother and her two daughters in their early twenties . It seems all the time, helicopters, police cars . I live in Hertfordshire and we have generally not had much crime. One of the stabbings was a 3 min walk from where we live and is the same road of our daughter’s primary school.

Thanks for your viewpoints! This Brit-American/Anglophile hopes and prays they'll be able to iron out their differences and find peace! Another aspect of the immigration problem that some may not take into consideration is that the UK has a climate i.e. very severe winters, colder/windier and weather patterns that many immigrants from the middle east aren't used to nor are they used to the usual foods of Great Britain so they have to learn to adapt and get acclimated to their new situation! Praying for my motherland~ ♥💙🙏🙏 BTW, Sweden recently had to send many immigrants packing because they simply did not have an economy or size of country to handle the vastness of the problem, they weren't prepared for such an influx!
