1. Engelbert Humperdinck (German pronunciation: [ˈɛŋl̩bɛʁt ˈhʊmpɐdɪŋk]) (1 September 1854 – 27 September 1921) was a German composer, best known for his opera, Hänsel und Gretel. Humperdinck was born at Siegburg in the Rhine Province; at the age of 67 he died in Neustrelitz, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
2. Engelbert Humperdinck (born Arnold George Dorsey; 2 May 1936) is a British pop singer, best known for his hits including "Release Me (And Let Me Love Again)" and "After the Lovin'" as well as "The Last Waltz" ("The Last Waltz with You").

I dont know of any other male singer who has sung so many beautiful gorgeous tear filled love songs like Englebert.
I was listening to his records with my Dad and Mom when I was 13.
With songs like Les Bicyclettes,Sweetheart,Last Waltz,A Man Without Love,Am I that Easy to Forget,and The Way it Used to Be you cant choose a favorite.
These songs carry awesome melodies,gorgeous orchestration and arrangements and Englebert dors a superb job taking command.
All his LPs were state of the art.

I wasn't really an Engelbert fan in the late 60's, but have never forgotten this song, what a joy to rediscover it on Youtube; now aged 56 I'm a huge fan of both the song and the man. As my nephews would say - QUALITY!!

I love Engelbert and always have, I started listening to him when I was only 5 years old , I sat right beside the speaker to hear him better and i memorized the Last Waltz!! he will always be a good singer. I also believe that NO ONE has the right to put another individual down for anything or reason. He is one of the best!!
