When she fall in love
And he was everything
That she'd been dreaming of
She was proud to be the princess
Of a brave matador
Cause she knew that it was her
That he was always fighting for.
Cause she can still remember
All of the Spanish roses
Her lover gave to her.
Torero te quiero.
Torero te quiero.
And now he's just a dream
That she used to love
Cause deep inside her heart
She's hold the memory of
The days she used to watch him
As the crowd sheered his name
To the day he lost the battle
And they carried him away.
She brings
Torero
She brings
Torero
She brings
She brings
The lyrics of Engelbert Humperdinck's song, Torero, tell the story of a young girl who falls in love with a brave matador. He was everything she had been dreaming of and she was proud to be the princess of her matador. She watched as he fought fiercely for her, and she always brought him Spanish roses. However, time has passed, and he is now just a memory that she used to love. She still holds the memory of the days she watched him, and the day he lost the battle, and they carried him away. The lyrics, "Torero te quiero" or "I love you, Torero" are repeating throughout the song and emphasize the deep, passionate love she had for the matador.
The song is a beautiful representation of love, passion, and loss. It speaks about the intensity of love that one can feel for another, and the pains of letting go when that love is lost. The Spanish language used in the song provides a unique flair and helps set the stage for the story. The lyrics reveal the girl's unwavering devotion to the torero, regardless of the outcome of his fights. At the end of the song, it's clear that the heartache remains, but the memories of the torero and the love they shared are still fresh in her heart.
