Winter Wonderland
Engelbert Humperdinck Lyrics
Sleigh bells ring; are you listening?
In the lane snow is glistening
A beautiful sight; oh, we're happy tonight
Walking in a winter wonderland
Gone away is the bluebird
Here to stay is a new bird
He's singing a song as we go along
Walking in a winter wonderland
And pretend that he is Parson Brown
He'll say, are you married? We'll say no man
But you can do the job when you're in town
Later on we'll conspire
As we dream by the fire
To face unafraid of the plans that we made
Walking in a winter wonderland
In the meadow we can build a snowman
And pretend he's a circus clown
We'll have lots of fun with Mr. Snowman
Until the other kiddies knock him down
Oh, when it snows, ain't it filling
Though your nose gets a chilling?
We'll frolic and play the Eskimo way
Walking in a winter wonderland
(Wonderland wonderland)

Quizás, me entregues tu corazón

I know it's an old song...but what a treasure! They don't make songs like this anymore....I was just a little boy when I first heard this song, but damn, I still love it!

Nancy, thank you for taking me back to that wonderful winter. It was a time of first love for this songwriter learning that there truly is a greater harmony surrounding us. So many snowfalls later, I still hear this song and find myself standing in a snowbound forest at night, feeling love descend without a sound but only that of a near silent chime.

Just beautiful! I love listening to this song every winter season, especially this year in 2019, the 50th anniversary of its release. Sadly, composer Les Reed left us in April this year, but his monumental contributions to the music industry are immortal.
