Sacco et Vanzetti
Ennio Morricone Lyrics

Rest forever here in my heart,
The last and final moments is yours
That agony is your triumph
Ennio Morricone's song Sacco et Vanzetti is a tribute to two Italian anarchists, Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti, who were executed in 1927 in the US after being convicted of robbery and murder. However, their trial was widely regarded as unfair and politically motivated due to their radical beliefs and immigrant status. Many believed that they were punished for their political beliefs rather than their actual crimes.
The lyrics convey a sense of admiration and respect for Sacco and Vanzetti, who remained committed to their principles and beliefs until their last breath. The line "Here's to you, Nicolas and Bart" is a toast to their memory and legacy, while "Rest forever here in my heart" suggests that their spirit and influence will live on.

These are the lyrics:
Maintenant, Nicolas et Bart
Vous dormez au fond de nos coeurs
Vous étiez tous seuls dans la mort
Mais, par elle, vous vaincrez
Now Nicolas and Bart
You sleep in the depths of our hearts
You were all alone in death
But, through it, you will conquer

Mon fils, mon compagnon,
Pourtant, me voici empli d'amour
Et cœur ouvert, aujourd'hui comme hier.
Si j'ai cessé la grève de la faim, l'autre jour,
C'est parce que la vint coulé,
Comme celle de ta mère,
Pour rien, pendant sept an
Arrête-toi, mon fils, cherche l'horizon :
Car toujours ils seront tes meilleurs amis.
Comme je t'aime, oh petit homme ;
J'espère que ta mère t'aidera à comprendre
Ces mots que je te donne… Adieu mon garçon.
Je t'envoie le salut de Bartolo.
Ton père et ton camarade,
Nicola Sacco "

Here's to you Nicolas and Bart
Rest forever here in our hearts
The last and final moment is yours

Canto aqui Nicola e Bart
Vuestro fin y vuestra prison
El morit os dié libertad
Y un lugar en mi corazon.
Canto asi a Nicola e Bart
A quien odia la escalvitud
A quien sabe amar la verdad
Canto fuerte "Libertadi"
Was auch kommt, Nicola und Bart
Ihr habt euch in uns aufbewahrt!
Euren Tod, den sterben wir mit
Und wir siegen Schritt für Schritt
