di giocare con me.
Non ti siedi? Scusa non lo vedi
che desidero te?
E ti suoner? le campane DAN DAN DAN.
Ti convincer?, ti catturer?.Ahahaa .
Quando cresco? Proprio non ci riesco,
Immaturo, non ho pi? futuro,
non sar? grande mai.
E se tu vai via, io ti sparo BANG BANG BANG.
Chi far? la spia alla Polizia? Ahahaa .
Sono proprio un infantile,
dalla vita fuggir?.
Con gli amici, gi? in cortile,
a pallone giocher?,
forse mi diveritr?.
Per fortuna non vivr? .
Patatine, senza anfetamine,
io mi divorer?.
Senza fine, con le figurine,
collezione far?.
E mi toglier?, le catene BLANG BLANG BLANG.
Non migliorer?, non maturer?. Nohohoo
Sono proprio un infantile,
un bambino rester?
e non manger? pi? bile,
tutto capovolger?
e mai pi? ci soffrir?.
Per fortuna non vivr? .
Non andare, fermati a giocare.
Su, rimani con me!
Non parlare, lasciami provare
a tirare le tre.
E ti toccher? la cerniera ZIP ZIP ZIP.
Forse ti amer?,
io ci prover? Ahahaa .
Sono proprio un infantile
e non diventer?
un adulto senza stile.
La mia vita fermer?.
No, io non invecchier?.
Per fortuna non vivr?
The lyrics to Enrico Ruggeri’s song “Sono proprio un infantile” reveal the singer’s desire to remain a child forever, as they struggle to leave behind the joys of childhood and face the challenges of growing up. The opening lines, “Ti rivedo, ancora ti richiedo / di giocare con me” (I see you again, I still ask you / to play with me), evoke a sense of childlike wonder and innocence, as the singer longs for companionship and playfulness. However, the following lines suggest a deeper, more troubling aspect to the singer’s desire to remain a child: “Quando cresco? Proprio non ci riesco, / non migliorerò mai” (When will I grow up? I just can’t do it, / I’ll never get better). These lines indicate a fear of adulthood and its accompanying responsibilities, as well as a sense of inadequacy and self-doubt.
Throughout the song, the singer paints a vivid picture of childhood, from playing ball in the courtyard with friends to collecting figurines, and even eating potato chips. However, these activities are tinged with a sense of sadness and desperation, as the singer longs to hold onto them but knows they are ultimately fleeting. The chorus, “Sono proprio un infantile / dalla vita fuggirò” (I am really a child / I will flee from life), reinforces this sense of childish escapism, as the singer seeks refuge in a world untainted by the difficulties of adulthood.
The song’s ending, with its disconcerting references to “tirare le tre” (shooting the three) and touching the zipper, suggests a darker undercurrent of sexuality and perversion lurking beneath the surface of childhood innocence. The final lines, “Per fortuna non vivrò” (Luckily I won’t live), imply a desire for death and escape from the painful realities of growing up. Overall, Ruggeri’s lyrics offer a poignant and unsettling commentary on the complexities of childhood and the challenges of facing adulthood.
