The band eventually broke up in 1996 and Bunbury started his solo career in 1997 with a techno album, Radical Sonora with his new band: Copi (piano), del Moran (bass), Ramón Gacias (drums) and former Héroes del Silencio guitarrist Alan Boguslavsky.
Recognized by his wish to always reinvent himself, Bunbury released in 1999 the album Pequeño, which sounded much different than anything he did before. His band also suffered changes, Boguslavsky was replaced by Rafa Domínguez, and the new faces, Ana Belén Estaje (violin), Luis Miguel Romero (percussion), Javier Iñigo, Javier García Vega & Antonio Ríos in the metal instruments.
This band was known as the "Huracán Ambulante" ("Rambling Hurricane") and recorded with Bunbury the rest of his solo discography, (except Antonio Ríos).
In 2005, after 8 years together, Bunbury dissolved the band and declared that will record a new album in 2006 only with his voice and a piano. Nevertheless, in early 2006 he recorded an album with spanish artist Nacho Vegas by the name of El tiempo de las cerezas.
His old band, Héroes del Silencio, reunited in 2007 for a short tour which visited Latin America, United States and Spain.
Luna
Enrique Bunbury Lyrics

Contigo se van
Las fuerzas que en parte
El sol me da
Luna menguante
Oculta entre nubes
Hasta que te marches
No pienso salir
Esta locura que viene y se va
Y si es un espejismo, es demasiado real
Luna menguante
Me he vuelto a perder
Esperaré a que alguien
Me encuentre al amanecer
Luna menguante
Amante traidora
The lyrics of Enrique Bunbury's song "Luna" tell the story of a person who is feeling lost and overwhelmed by their emotions, which are affected by the moon. The first verses describe how the decreasing moon takes away the energy that the sun gives, creating a sense of tiredness and melancholy. The singer feels trapped in this state and unable to escape it. The moon, which is usually associated with romanticism and passion, is portrayed as a deceitful lover, who hides the key to the singer's future. The chorus repeats the idea that blaming the moon for one's troubles is too easy, and that ultimately one must take responsibility for their own life.
The song is a poetic reflection on the effects of nature on human psychology. The moon has long been seen as a symbol of change and transformation, and in this song, it is used as a metaphor for the ups and downs of life. The singer is struggling to find meaning in their existence, and the moon serves as a mirror for their emotions. The repeated refrain about blaming the moon is a reminder that, although external forces can influence our lives, ultimately we must take control of our own fate.
